"I told you, don't get any weird ideas. Of course it's just the fight--" Adair's rant broke off though when he was told to stay back. The tone in Damian's voice was different and he found himself pausing. He sensed something then and barely a moment later, some real strange looking people had dropped out of nowhere. There were five of them and he could tell they weren't the sort to be trifled with. Adair met the other man's eye, then lifted his weapons back into an offensive position.

"Hey you weirdos, you can't have him. He's mine!" Adair yelled. He didn't care that he was probably signing his own death warrant. There was no way he was going to let Damian get away with him and their unfinished business.
