Adair found himself just staring at the other man blankly as he started to walk away. That was it? Kill the enemy, walk away? He was hungry so he was going to act like nothing had happened? Adair's mind seemed to have shorted out and it took him more than a second to even consider reacting. Damian was almost out of sight and he decided there was no point in chasing after him now. He'd seen enough of the other man's power to know that trying to continue their fight now would be suicidal. That didn't mean he was going to give up on it by any means though. He would just wait until a better moment and keep the other man in his sights. "Fine, walk away!" he yelled at the other man's back. "But don't think that this is the last of me. I'll come after you again, so you better watch your back!" And in the meantime, Adair would train so that they could fight on equal ground.
