AIDs is a natural disease, however it's spread could easily be stemmed with a little human effort, such as wider education and distribution of condoms. Not only that but many people who could be helped by existing drugs do not have access to them for political or economic reasons :) So, yeah, there's a hell of a lot we can do right now to slow down the AIDs epidemic.
