So the Menewsha server has been purring along since 2012, and has actually been up with zero reboots for 1,913 days (5.2 years.)

So although this is awesome as far as server reliability, there comes a time when you start to worry about the reliability of hardware. Is Menewsha server really going to last another 5 years? What happens if the SSD fails? Are your avatars and database being backed up on a regular basis?

So with this in mind, I feel it's time to migrate Menewsha to a new server.

So without further delay, over this weekend I intend to migrate make the necessary changes to upgrade the hardware behind the site. This will lead to a short downtime and a few potential bugs, but don't be worried, this will all get sorted out.
