She closes her eyes,
clasps her hands, and makes a wish,
The first flower blooms.

The flies follow me
seeking my food and solace
until they're banished.

Loves me, loves me not,
Petals fall from flowers picked,
Until the kiss.
Haiku for You:
She picks them with care,
only the brightest blooms here,
for her own mother.
