((Don't worry about it. The back-story is actually pretty nifty. :D))

Obediently, Lexi followed Noemi through the hallways to their destination, the labs, where she would be tested. The tests were pretty basic. How strong she was, how much she knew and learned, how her abilities were coming along, etc. Due to being inorganic, she was exempted from several of the other tests that students were required to go through. Pathogens didn't stand a chance against the nanobots after all. She was indifferent to the fact, of course. Very few things provoked a feeling of any kind from her after all.

As they walked, and yes, she was walking, she performed several equations in her head so that she could give an accurate progress report. She had deciphered the equations that the scientists used a week prior. There had been an adequate amount of astonishment considering they had never mentioned it out loud or anything. Lexi had simply gotten a hold of several of the results and deciphered the pattern. It had actually been quite simple.

Upon entering the laboratory room itself, Lexi hovered over to the table before sitting on it, safe in the knowledge that students wouldn't be able to see her. That was part of her directives; make sure no one knew that she was any different from a living, breathing human. It was more a test to see how well it worked than to see if she could do it at all. Infiltration required that people didn't suspect anything after all.
