Darkness engulfed the woman for she had no dreams by the time she had finally fallen asleep. How long had she been on that island? She didn't know anymore. She didn't even know how long she had been alone until the large wolf, Aleu had found her. She felt heavy though; for as long as she was running, she needed to protect herself from whatever creatures had been following her and she couldn't do that alone. She had summoned so many things to aid her combat that by the time the wolf had found her, she was practically on death's door from the blood loss.

Faline could hear a voice, but it felt so far away. It was reaching out for her, calling her but her body didn't want to wake from its slumber. As her body slowly started trying to fall back to its slumber, fur fell before her nose and inhaling the soft fibers caused a panic to stir in the woman. Sitting up quickly, the Unai quickly regretted it as she felt dizzy, her vision far from in focus, but the smell told her that it had been Aleu trying to wake her.

It was the tone of the woman's voice that forced her world back into place, forcing the sleepy fog away. Gathering up her already packed bag, she slung it over her shoulder before following the woman out of the cave. She knew very little of the woman, but they helped each other and at that point, that was all she needed.

As soon as they were outside, Faline's nose quickly picked up on the smell that they had been running from for so long. Her ears fell slightly as Aleu began to growl, her form quickly taking shape of a massive wolf with black and silver fur. As she barked at her to go, Faline could only nod; this routine was nothing new as Aleu would often pose as the distraction for her size was much larger than that of the Unai.

Faline took off running for the woods, her form quickly seeming to disappear in the shadows, though that was far from the truth. As soon as her body hit the darkness, her human form soon shifted much as the other woman's. Pale skin was replaced with glistening black fur as she seemed to take the form of what looked like a malnourished jackal. The bag that was on her shoulder now wrapped around her back as she silently bounded deeper into the forest.

There was no need to ask where they would meet up for between their senses, it never took them long to find one another.

The black fur creature dove under debris and bounded over fallen trees. Much of the smell was fading, but not all; it seemed like some of the creatures were growing smart to their usual escape plans.
