Precisely~! I was a TERRIBLE artist in elementary school. In middle school, I wanted to learn how to draw so badly that I started tracing pictures... but, thank goodness, I was too embarrassed to show anyone my tracings... To me, it was just like a kid learning how to write letters by first tracing them. Eventually, I got used to how to draw certain things, I stopped tracing, and after years and years of learning from my mistakes, I am where I'm at now... And still not that particularly great!! XD

Nah, not everyone~ And I think artists are naturally critical of themselves, as a while anyway... It's a tough life... XD

And. HOLD THE POTATOE PHONE~!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT ARE ART TEACHERS DOING TELLING YOU THAT YOU CANNOT DRAW?!?!?!? If I had ever had an art teacher tell me that (and trust me, I was a TERRIBLE artist in elementary/middle school) I would have withdrawn and never DRAWN anything ever again!!!! D: D: D:

Teachers s'posed to be encouraging.... ;A;
