Fane sent a quick reply accepting the arrangement. He was so glad text didn't show any of the trepidation he'd been feeling. That evening he spent more time than usual working on his motorcycle in an attempt to calm down. It didn't work. When he woke he still felt butterflies swimming around his stomach as he thought of facing Axel again. The man surely wouldn't convince him to dance again...

A part of Fane wanted that. That part was excited when he finally opened the door to the meeting room. A paper filled briefcase was gripped tightly in one hand, while the other sent Fane's carefully arranged hair into disarray. He stepped into the empty room and chose a seat with a sigh, and settled down to wait for the others and compose himself. He liked arriving early to meetings when he could for just that reason, and was relieved to finally feel calm seeping through him before anyone's arrival.
