NaNoWriMo is contest that takes place every November.
Write a 50k word novel in 30 days. Start to finish. You can't use any writing you started before the first.
It's on your good honor, though. :lol: Just about to reach the 4k mark, so I'm a bit behind.

And I'm not sure when I'll write today's entry... maybe start it this evening, and finish it tomorrow. :)
