Clark eyed her as she made her way to the table where he placed the maps. "I'll see if I can find this chest of yours, maybe get your serving girl to find it somewhere on the ship," he mused, getting up and following her to the table. He had a bite of some bread as he puffed on his pipe again, the smoke dissipating as it hit the maps. The princess pointed out where she lived. Victoria Landing. Of course. It was one of the more wealthier ports, one of those that Clark would rather stray away from if it wasn't for a proliferating black market.

He heard her mumble and he couldn't quite get what she said. While he could care less, it was the forlorn look on her face when she looked at him that made his chest hurt a bit. Where had he seen that expression before? Clark shook his head and dimly looked up when the door opened, serving girl in sight.

"You, go fetch her chest of clothes or something," Clark commanded. When he heard that Gerard was feeling better, he could feel his shoulders slump out of relief. He wasn't for losing his first mate to some fancy guard. He turned to look at the girl and waved her along, telling her that she could get the food once the princess got her clothes. He guessed that she was probably cold with just that to wear. Spying the rest of her dirty clothes in the corner, he asked the princess, "What do you want to do with 'em?"

Ariel placed her hands on her hips, her eyes wandering over him again before she deemed him acceptable to be left alone for a few minutes. She had to admit, staying in the same room can make one go crazy after a while, and she was already feeling it only after a few hours! "Hmm. Alright, he better thank me for doing such a good 'un on you." After she made sure everything was where it should be, she left the room. Seeing Davey on her way to the captain's quarters, she gave him a small, polite nod and a smile. 'There's "good" pirates. In a sense of the word.'

The rest of the men were getting the sails up and munching on some of the vegetables and turkey legs that they still had from the royal ship. A few of them eyed her as she made her way, but she made sure that she kept her head high. Ariel made sure to shoot back her nastiest looks when a few dared to grab her skirts. A few of the men backed down when they realized that she came out of Gerard's room. There. There was the kind of immunity she wanted to have.

She knocked on the captain's doors and entered, nodding to another burly man who was positioned in front of the door. Ariel saw the two of them poring over a map, with a table full of food next to them. Her stomach grumbled at the sight, and she bowed a bit to the captain before she told him that she was there to procure food for Gerard. "He's doing much better. Gave me a fright when a fever jumped outta nowhere," she mused, looking over at the princess. She was only in her linens and Ariel thought she saw the princess' chest when she looked for the medicine chest with Davey. At the captain's command, she nodded and left, searching the ship for the huge, ornate chest that was difficult to miss.
