The character was amazed at the way the arm was returned to normal. Mai spoke in the same strange sounds which others like her spoke. The character wondered what this strange marvel was with which these beings made. The character knew these beings were similar yet the character could not create these strange sounds, at least not in the pattern spoken nor understand their meaning.
