Laughing Opal shook her head at Ruby’s and Diamonds jokes. One was quite cheesy and the other was snarky. She loved the differences in their personalities. She shook her head at Ruby and before Diamond grabbed her hand Opal shut the lid on her basket and locked it. No one would steal her packages but it was always best to be safe rather than sorry.
Hand in hand the two guardians followed after Ruby. Softly Opal hummed as they walked. It may look like she wasn’t paying attention to her surroundings but that wasn’t true. No matter where she was the guardian was always on the lookout for darkness. She knew they were everywhere and needed to be careful around them, especially now that everyone was waking up.
“Ohh flowers, I love flowers,” she said with a grin and pulled Diamond into the store after Ruby. Opal wasn’t paying attention so she slammed into Ruby’s back when the other woman abruptly stopped. Reaching out she grabbed the shorter woman’s arm and gracefully steadied the three of them. “Sorry lovie. Why’d you..well hello.” Grinning Opal shook her head.
They had found Emerald. Most of the girls, all together now. She thought it was quite funny they hadn’t spotted a guy yet. “Look Diamond, it’s like girl power around here. I bet those lazy men haven’t even woken up yet. Maybe they never will then it really will be girl power.”
