Ryna's reactions really were like her sister's; it made missing her not quite so difficult at that point. That twin bond wasn't there though; the twins were never separated for long and they could always find each other in the worst of conditions. Rory couldn't feel it though; it was as though her sister were truly not there and the thought of her sister being killed on that island was something she didn't want to think about. There was a masked kindness with Ryna, not so much masked but one that could easily be confused with ire or anger, it made it easy for the woman to approach her.

As Reno started getting upset over the idea of others seeing the dark haired woman nude, Rory laughed. Pulling her dress over her head she said, "Unai don't view nudity the same way as human." She then pulled herself into the water, wading out until the cool liquid wrapped around her waist. Turning around to face the other twins that were still on the ground she said, "Though we appear human, we are animals. Clothing is just something we wear to blend in with humans. You won't find Unai clothed while in human form if you visit our packs." In reality, most Unai packs preferred to remain in their natural, animal forms.

Abi's eyes rolled over to Rory and Ryna as the other woman entered the water. She couldn't help but smirk at the woman's confidence as she said she would protect the two Unai. Sure, her father was strong, but it was unwise to think any of them could single handedly vow to protect so many. She couldn't blame her for the thought though, she knew that everything was really draining Rory; even if the mountain creature wanted to sleep, she couldn't without aid.

People were standing with them in the search for her sister, it was something that comforted the Unai. It took Rory longer than she would have thought to convince her pack to let her find her; to them, Faline was as good as dead. Rory dipped under the water as Ryna started pulling away. "Reno is a gem," she said softly to the dark haired woman as her eyes moved to look at her. "It's nice to know that I'm in her favor."

Rory was wringing her hair out as Abi gathered up their items, the group of girls making their way back towards the cabins. Reno was onto her next game of course, wanting to play a game with the missing male, one that she didn't want to tell him they were playing; it was very much like the blonde to want to do that. She wasn't all that interested in the prize that she offered for whomever found him first and with the expression, or lack-thereof, on Abi's face, she knew the other woman didn't care either.

With that prize not being enough to pull them in and with her sister's counter argument, she offered Ryna a chance to kiss Akina, but who was that?

Abi's eyes snapped over to the other two girls at the announcement of a new name. She didn't see the look on the black haired woman's face, but the way that the other reacted told her it was not a pleasant look. She followed along with the direction that the woman had offered but moved closer to her. "And who is Akina?" She asked loud enough so both girls could hear.

Rory kept her ears peeled on the conversation that was starting to flourish at hand, though she was closer to Reno than the other two at that point.

Faline's ears picked up at the notion of not having been alone and having a sister on top of that. Her eyes locked onto the woman as she spoke her name 'Rory'. There was a hope that filled her eyes and she could fill it in her chest as she thought about it; they were twins. Were they identical? She didn't know, but imagine it! She thought about a girl roughly the same height and weight of her, almost a mirror image. They were the same species too, did that mean she had the same ears and tail that she had?

Her eyes traced over the forest before them as she tried to imagine it all. The idea of having a sister and if they were close, it was a nice feeling. It felt natural and accepting. She didn't have too long to think about it though, for soon Aleu was leading her towards what looked like a heavy stone tablet. Her eyes narrowed on the object; it seemed familiar, at least the carvings on it were similar to the ones that scarred her own body, their meanings were different. "I can read this," she said, her voice sounding nearly surprised.

Aleu didn't seem to like the object as she commented that it smelled of blood. That excited the woman for her markings were activated by blood. She approached the stone device slowly, a hand reached out towards it. As her finger tips nearly grazed the top of it, the symbols lit up a bright white-blue, it was almost blinding. Shielding her eyes until the light faded, Faline felt a tug at her mind strings.

"Faline, Faline, look out they're behind you," she heard a frantic voice call out to her. Turning, she saw a near mirror image of her, her face had the look of horror and panic in it, her body had blue symbols glowing up her arms. Turning to see what the woman was warning her about, Faline's eyes fell on a massive boar.

The red symbols that Faline was so familiar with began to glow brighter. "Rory, you have to run, I'll hold it off," she said, her tone sharp as her eyes landed on the woman for a moment. Rory was near tears as she said, "I'm not leaving you Faline." The older twin snarled at the other as she said, "Rory, go, I'll catch up." She could see her sister not want to, but turn to run anyway.

Once Rory was gone, Faline let out a slow sigh as she stood up straight before the creature, her arms out to the side. "Maybe," she then added as a whisper as the glowing light exploded around her. The light was broken by a new shape that seemed to step out of it; the creature had a thick body like the boar, but long legs like a spider, the face of a hawk and tail of a serpent. The creature was taller than the boar, but the other creature had bulk on its side still. Falling to one knee, Faline knew that she had to stay awake until the creature was defeated or until she was killed; she had to give her sister time to escape. Then, slowly, the world began to fade around her.

A gasp came from the woman as her mind was forced back to the present, within her hands the tablet was no longer a stone tablet, but an old, leather bound book. She placed one hand over the top cover, her breathing starting to slow slightly. "Rory," she said, nearly in tears as she turned quickly to look at Aleu. "Did she make it? Is she still alive?" There was a protective panic in her voice as her eyes scanned over the woman's face trying to find clues of what happened after that.
