@Roar: Yeah. I bought the pumpkin about 3 weeks ago and prayed that it wouldn't rot and that I wouldn't carve it too soon. Once my husband's pumpkin rotted a week after he carved it I knew to just wait. He had another pumpkin that he was going to carve but we left it in our garage on the concrete and well.. concrete holds moisture so the pumpkin got moldy on the bottom. Oh well. Learning for next time!
