Art Contest

Welcome to Mene~Summer Night's Dream 2008 event! I, Biscuits, and Iro will be your hosts for this artistic activity. Before we go on, here's a brief introduction of what this is about.


Shakespeare created the original plot line of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" out of his pure imagination. Unfortunately while creating the play he didn't have any illustrations to depict the magic involved. This is your chance to help Shakespeare illustrate the story! There will be separate sub-categories for creative graphics and pixels. Each category involves you to recreate the characters in your own form, then create your own depiction of a midsummer night party in the forest.


There will be three categories for this contest, drawn art (graphics) divided into
computer graphics (CG)
and
traditional media,
and;
pixels.

Basically, what you would have to do is to draw and design the characters of the play and if possible, draw them acting out any scene from the play according to your own depiction.

If you are not very sure of what the play is about and the characters, I will
provide the Wikipedia article to it below, though it's recommended that
you search up for more articles about it on your own.
