THE PLOT

A reverse-harem rp where a single woman, the daughter of a Sultan, owns and rules over a harem of men in a lush palace. The setting in a fantasy-Arabia type of place, where it's out in the desert, in the beautiful (and fictional/fantasy) Arabian city of Arabata, but only fantasized a little to allow non-human characters. All races are allowed, as are regular humans.

THE HAREM OWNER

The Harem Owner is Esmeralda, daughter of the Sultan of Arabasta. She lives in a large palace in the great city of Arabasta with her rather abundant harem of men to surround her. She pulls a lot of weight in the city, and holds some power in her country.

As far as the men go, Esmeralda 'owns' all of the men by contract, meaning mainly that she purchased them from somewhere, although some could offer themselves willingly. She could have purchased a slave from a friend, or perhaps saved a criminal that was about to be executed by buying him off, and now he owes a debt to her. Anything, really.

Some men love her and like to compete for her attention, while others loath her and wish to see her dead. But no matter how they feel about her, they are not free until she either sets them free, or their contract is nullified by her death or the men somehow paying their debt.

THE HAREM PALACE

A huge, Arabian-style palace. There are more rooms than one can count, and it goes up at least seven stories as it towers over the entire city. The palace is furnished with many fancy Arabian-style assets. Gold and silver can be found everywhere, and fancy pillows and cushions are abundant for comfort, as well as netted curtains of all eccentric colors. The windows are usually big and open, letting in a lot of air in the palace. There are also rooms like a pool room where there is a hole in the ceiling where rain falls and makes a pool. Or a dungeon room below ground, where the more disciplinary acts take place.

There are also slave quarters on one of the higher floors. The more trusted the slave, like the guards, the better the rooms are. Esmeralda allows her men to personalize their rooms and keep personal items, but she can also take them away on a whim, and make her men's lives a living hell by even evicting them from their room altogether. Although it may seem like they own a few things, in reality, they own nothing.

Socially, Esmeralda and the palace are well known all around the city and even the country. People occasionally come to Esmeralda requesting a 'good time', in which Esmeralda might or might not indulge.

BRANDING

The harem owner brands all of her men with a special symbol on their forearms showing her ownership of them. This way, no uniforms are necessary to see what she owns. Everyone can keep what clothes they have, though Esmeralda will also donate her own clothing if she sees something needs improvement to her own liking.

POWER RESTRAINTS

Esmeralda forces those of her men with special powers, whatever their race, to wear special devices that weakens them and disables them from using such powers and abilities. They can be in the form of collars, bracelets, or other such accessories. Though they require a key to open, of which only Esmeralda owns and knows where it is.

HAREM CATEGORIES

Guards – The most trusted of her men. Consist of things like personal bodyguards and guards that watch the palace entrance or gates. They are usually rewarded handsomely for their efforts.
Servants – Do the menial things such as cooking and cleaning and general mindless tasks that come up on a whim. They aren't paid as much attention to, but still play a vital role in the Harem.
Puppets – She uses them as toys, mostly for personal entertainment. Although none of the men are free from this, the puppets get it the worst.

The men are free to interact with each other and roam about the palace when Esmeralda does not require or summon them for something. But once summoned, they are no longer on their own time.
