First one on the girl's right side, then two more coming from behind and four to the left. Before long, the lights became so numerous that it looked like a great stampede would descend of them. This stampede consisted of more leaf boats like theirs though, hundreds of them with more fireflies to light the way. At the helm of these boats were fairies. Their wings created the buzz in the air and the girl squealed and tried to steer her boat because they were all moving so much faster that she feared being capsized.
