At first the whistle is faint, but gradually it throes and sways into a charming tune. Between the wispy notes there was an occasional hum, and the origin didn't seem to notice you standing behind her.
"Well?"
Leaning to the side, the stranger reveals a sketchbook filled with small notes and doodles of strange creatures. A familiar shape catches your eye on the page, and as you lean in to examine it she gives the page a tug and hands it to you. Why, the drawing was of you! And how strange, you think, was the picture moving...?
"Keep it," was all the curt response you would receive, the stranger never turning her head to really give you a good look. Deciding to leave on that note, you fold the paper into your pocket and carry on.
