Haha, yeah, a lot of people are appalled at Gaia. You've just got to find the places where you're comfortable. I understand why a lot of people don't like it there although I still enjoy the site pretty well.
And no, my mother's not a bit like that. She's a catholic - she apologizes every time she swears XD.
