Mindy watched her and wondered how she herself had lost that simple joy in her surroundings. Following the path, she led Lucy on past more waterfalls. Some steep and narrow, other wide and flat. Sighing, she smiled and stepped into the cool pool of one of the waterfalls. This area was a wonder in of itself. In the time she had been here, another waterfall had created itself adding to the wide collection that was in the area. Her smile was more than for the pleasure of wading in such a pool, but also for the knowledge of what was back behind one the waterfalls.
