Caffeine is definitely important. I notice a drastic difference mood-wise when I don't have my caffeine! I definitely think I have brain fog without it.
The recovery is coming along well...
I can lift up to about 50 pounds, now...though my disabled adult daughter weighs over 80 pounds so I can't lift her yet.
I can do light housework and cook and stuff...but I tend to overdo myself in one day, making me feel exhausted the next day.
I am not sure if other people have had a change in taste sensation after this procedure, but I suspect that quitting smoking had some effect.
There are certain foods...especially canned soups, that just taste nasty to me now!
I lost so much weight that the doc wanted me to eat lots to put some weight back on...but it's hard to do when most of my "comfort " foods aren't "comforting " anymore!
