The sudden explosion of noise from the room next door sent Beth rudely back into realm of the awake, though that was nothing compared to the psychic backlash that followed shortly after. Partially, it was her fault. Upon waking up, her mind automatically sent out a pulse to detect any possible threats in her immediate area not to mention that normally, her shields would have been up as always, but they usually slipped a little when she first woke up. That openness, even for just a moment, was what allowed the surge of psychic energy to hit her so hard.

After she recovered from the migraine, she stood, knees shaking, and made her way slowly over to the room, number thirteen to be specific. Numbly, she opened the unlocked door and peered inside, the rock music throbbing in rhythm with her migraine. She winced as she entered, holding one hand to her head and the other to the wall to keep from falling down. Due to the pain, it took her a bit to realize that Arvil was the one on the ground, blacked out. Still, her first priority was to turn off the grating music so that she could think straight. Once it was off, blessed silence filled the hallway.

The picture in front of Arvil that she had apparently drawn was... strange to say the least. Having never been much of an art person, Beth didn't pay much attention to the picture, though she wouldn't have paid that much attention even if she loved art because of the unconscious girl nearby. Waking her up after such a psychic episode was really a terrible idea, so Beth merely contented herself with straightening the girl's body into a more comfortable position and laying a blanket over top of her. The thought of being caught helping someone was rather nauseating to Beth, who hated the spotlight with a burning passion. So instead of staying to make sure she was okay, she left, locking the door behind her and went back to her own room to curl up on the bed and go to sleep in peace. Before she drifted off however, she did use her telepathy to prompt Arvil into REM sleep rather than unconsciousness. That way she would get some rest throughout the night.
