Jae shook her head, "I don't want to continue this weird almost incestuous net we've got going on. When I do meet my mate, hopefully not soon, I'd prefer it to be a stranger. We need to widen the gene pool or something," she said, her voice wry.

Grey actually chuckled at that, the sound soft, but definitely there. He thinks he saw Jae's point quite well actually. As much as he loved his band mates, and trusted them rather implicitly, being any closer to them he was now, somehow just felt weird. A stranger seemed better in some ways, even though meeting new people scared him. At least he wouldn't end up as Raz's brother-in-law that way.
