Akio had read for awhile, his mind slowly dulling from the events of the day. He laid back, allowing his thoughts to shift around in his head, as he looked up at the cieling. Things had begun nicely, everything according to plan. They had stopped for the night to rest, when they had been attacked. He did not know how long he had been out, before waking up here in this place. He had been chained to a wall, that demon taunting him. It had only been when he threatened another's life, that Akio had given in to staying by his own will. He had been shown around and taunted more. He sighed, it had all been a game from the beginning. After an exchange of words, they had parted for a bit.

He had become bored and curious, going to the room last shown and looking at the books. Things from there had seemed almost...peaceful. He had no idea if it had been real or not, but things had shifted. He sighed, rolling over onto his side. None of this was logical or made any sense, perhaps this was merely pure maddness. That would explain a bit indeed. He shook his head, before closing his eyes. He needed to rest, to allow his body to rest, and he realized his body was all to ready to comply. Unfortunately, his mind was not, as dark images and dreams made him unable to rest peacefully. He tossed and turned, before waking up in a cold sweat, his body heated, and unable to get his breath.

A hand went to the amulet around his neck, slowly helping him to calm. He felt the dark power and demonic nature of this place. He did not belong here, not like this. His eyes moved to the window, the light and sky had not changed much. It was still impossible to tell for him if it was day or night. It all blended together. He pushed away the covers, before standing. Making the bed, he heard a slight knock at the door and moved over to it. Unsure, he opened it slowly. There was some things sitting outside the door, but no one there. He picked up the objects, and discovered they were clothing. Seemed someone within the castle had brought him something to change into finally. Possibly thinking it would be more pleasing for their leader.

He closed the door, before unfolding the objects to study them. A pair of black pants, and a warm golden shirt that complimented his eyes. Someone had been paying attention to his appearance it seemed. Even a pair of black shoes, since his current boots were white like much of his outfit. He took a shower, cleaning and grooming himself, before placing on the clothing. He buttoned up the shirt, before examining himself in the mirror. Indeed it did look good on him, complimenting his dark hair and warmer eyes well. He added the yellow scarf around his neck this morning to complete the look, before he picked up the book from the nightstand. The one from the night before.

He hesitated, a few of the thoughts from last night coming back to him. He sighed, but figured he could not remain cooped up in here forever. He should venture out, but the warning the other had given him remained clear. He took a breath and opened the door. There was no point in hiding or fearing. He had already ventured out yesterday, so today he would explore a little further. He made his way to the stairs where they had come up the other day. Would Darius be up? Possibly out and about, his eyes moved to the doors to the man's room. Possibly he was still sleeping? There was no way to tell without checking, and he was not going to venture to the room after such suggestive comments before.

Instead he slowly moved down the stairs. Movement caught his eye and he tensed, a demon seeming to be dusting moving past. He gained a look, before the being moved on. He watched for a moment. They had probably been told they were not to touch him, the threat as he had thought before more of a hoax. If not, he could very well defend himself against a demon. It was what he had been trained to do, and this Darius would be wise not to underestimate him indeed. Moving down to the hall, some of the art he had seen before caught his eye. He paused before it, allowing his eyes to hesitate and move over some of the works that hung there.
