Adam tried not to let his mind wander, instead he tried to keep his focus on a list of tasks:
1. Buy a shovel
2. Bury the woman

The sun would be up in another few hours, surely that would be enough time to get those tasks completed. Then, during twilight, he'd quickly make his way back to the apartment and sleep. Adam expected he'd find Trey- Oh... speak of the devil. Adam's sense of smell caught his scent in the air, not terribly far behind. He would never tell Trey, but he certainly loved that man's scent. Perhaps, it was Trey's smell that made Adam so willing to help the young man and protect him. After all, the smell reminded him of her, and gave him the sense that he could finally protect something, since he couldn't protect her.

Adam kept to the shadows and walked quickly at a steady pace to allow Trey to tag along. Adam had only been to Paris maybe once or twice in his life. He wasn't familiar with the streets at all. However, he was certainly glad there wasn't a very active night life here as he'd originally thought. Granted, there were a couple of stragglers walking around on the other side of the street, but Adam kept his distance. He wasn't sure if the humans could smell the blood on his breath.

Adam came to a stop underneath a street lamp. ""Trey..." Adam waited for Trey to come a little closer before speaking again, though, he didn't really give Trey much time to do so before speaking again, "Stay close." If Trey was going to be following him, he may as well be close enough that Adam can keep a good eye on him. Adam never trusted humans as far as he could throw them. Not that there were very many out tonight, Adam just wanted to be sure that Trey would be safe. Though, in the back of his mind, Adam was sure Trey could handle himself more than he gave the man credit.

Okay... where to buy a shovel? Adam studied French in the time he'd been turned, but it wasn't much. He couldn't seem to locate any store that was open this late at night that would sell shovels. Just his luck... The only stores that would maybe sell a shovel was probably closed. He didn't dare come out during the day. Adam groaned. If he couldn't find anything in the next quarter of an hour, he'd return to the apartment and get Trey to help him dig with his hands and they'd bury her the old fashioned, it's-just-like-we're-children-again way.

It didn't look like he was going to find a shovel anytime soon. There was a lot more killing he'd have to do the next night, too. Adam groaned. They'd have to get the body out of there soon, Adam didn't like having his food piling up on the floor, and though he knew humans didn't have very good sense of smell, he was certain that once the body started decomposing, someone would smell it sooner or later. She had to go.

Adam groaned... It appeared they'd have to get rid of her the old fashioned way.
