The second Adam stepped into the apartment building something smelled... off. It kind of smelled like Trey. But there was something... off. Adam crept into the room where he and Trey had left the woman dead on the floor earlier. He was on high alert, but still kept an open mind that perhaps the new smell was Trey, maybe he'd been covered in a different scent that muddled his and made him smell different? Adam kept himself open to the possibility.

Adam took careful steps further into the apartment, now sensing the presence of someone else. He wasn't sure, was this Trey? He hadn't met anyone quite with the same smell except for Evelyn. While, it was true, this new smell smelled like Evelyn, it wasn't as... nostalgic. Adam didn't say anything as he entered.

He thought of calling for Trey, in case it really was the young man he was looking for and maybe he was just being paranoid. But, if in case he was right, he didn't want the other to know about Trey. Adam stood a few feet away from the doorway and listened carefully. He was sure if it were Trey, he would have shown himself by now.

"Who are you?" Adam asked. No point in playing dumb, Adam felt he needed to know who this stranger was. It was obviously another vampire... Maybe they knew were Trey was? Adam wasn't sure if he could trust this stranger just yet.
