At first, Adam thought it would be okay to let his guard down. This stranger didn't seem... It was when he mentioned his 'companion' that Adam's guard immediately went back up and he found himself on high alert once more. Adam found he wasn't quite sure what to make of Jacob. He seemed cunning. Adam only stared at him, finding himself speechless and unsure about how much information he should trust Jacob with.

Adam must've been suddenly struck by some sort of fortunate (or else, not so fortunate) beams. After spending years in isolation he was suddenly being bombarded with the knowledge of there being many other vampires besides himself and Trey. It bewildered Adam, though, he guessed that it would have been sooner or later that he found more vampires out there.

"What do you want with me?" Adam wasn't one for beating around the bush. This stranger broke into his personal space, telling him that he owned him... The entire situation seemed very unsavory. The sooner Adam figured out what this vampire wanted the better. Hopefully then, the sooner Jacob would leave...
