Shail forced himself to turn back toward the djinn woman though he already felt the draw of sleep just from laying down. How could blankets ever feel this soft? For a second, he just regarded her. He should give his name. There was no reason not to and yet...a part of him still resisted. A name had power and giving it so freely meant he accepted this fate. A stubborn person like him couldn't do that. He would not get close to her or let her get close to him. Turning his back fully again, he forced himself not to tremble. Resisting a creature of this magnitude, how could he not fear? But he couldn't stop his mouth either and couldn't let it show.
