Mainly what I like about .hack// G.U. are the designs and battle system. It is seldom I find a battle system that will keep me entertained for a LONG time and not get bored off very quickly. Oh, not to forget the Chimpchimps!
I scaled the Forest of Pain (all 100 floors, yes) in one sitting. That took about... 6-7 hours? xDD
It was very worth the extra ending, though. ♥

The prequel is in the form of an anime called .hack// Roots. Perhaps you have heard of it?
