Clark stepped back as Gerard took control of the whole door situation. "Uhh, I guess that'll work," he muttered to himself, the rest of the crew piling in after Gerard. He put his sword back in its scabbard as he walked inside. They hit the jackpot. The room was full of chests and plush material, making obvious the amount of money spent in buying such things. He observed the entanglement between Gerard and who he guessed to be the prized jewel the guards were protecting, rather poorly, he might add.
"Lady, you're on the high seas, which gives us jurisdiction to pillage and plunder as we please," Clark mused, walking up to her. He grabbed whatever collar of her dress and looked her over. He guessed that she was the daughter of the king, and he could see a hefty sum of ransom money in their future. But that seemed too complicated to mess with. Either way, she would die with no one else on the ship alive save for a few women.
Clark gave Gerard a look, telling him to back down. "This doesn't give you jurisdiction to disrespect your elders," he mused, eyeing her again. He noticed the serving girl in the room with her, scared and hysterical, held down by a few of his men.
"Take what you want! We'll be stopping at a port soon," Clark ordered, giving more orders to procure their supplies to bring back on the ship.
Ariel yelled and was about to smash Gerard's face in, if it wasn't for the other pirates stopping her in her tracks. The bust fell to the floor with a large crash, and a few men had to hold her down by her arms as she started sobbing and screaming. She screamed to let her go, saying how she would rather die than be held by pirates. Seeing Clark, she spat at his feet while he paid no attention to her.
Her mind raced to the worst case scenario. She started to regret accompanying the princess across the sea, biting the inside of her lip to keep herself from crying out more.
