While Alex played with the night vision goggles, Ellie held her phone out in front of her at the costume. It was in the same place it had been before, and its creepy eyes were still shining bright. She poked at it with a finger and it fell from the box it was on.

Ellie picked it up. It was incredibly lightweight. Where Ella would have assumed it was that nasty thick rubbery stuff, it was actually a sort of spandex material. Something easy to move in, of course. In fact, it reminded her an awful lot of the material her mother's yoga outfits. Had her mother bought them from the studio?

Something fell from the mouth of the costume, some kind of box, and Ella picked it up. Surely it was whatever made their voices sound so creepy and what allowed them to do that ear piercing screech that Allen had heard. She dropped the costume back onto a box when Alex called her.

Using her phone, she found her way through the boxes until she was at the wall beside him. He was right. There seemed to be little bits of light coming through from the other side. Ellie used her phone to search the wall, while feeling along it with her free hand. Suddenly she bumped a lever, and the whole wall turned, spinning them around and spitting them out the other side where Ella fell with an oompf.

Had it been the first time, Ellie might have been angry, shocked, or even embarrassed. But she wasn't. Because it wasn't the first time. Somehow, Ella had a knack for finding trap doors, falling into traps, falling down, getting captured, and even just plain getting lost. It was kind of her thing. So the norm, that Ella didn't even think twice about falling on her face anymore. "Found it," she said with a smile.
