Twice a month, for many a year, we have chosen two avatars from the whole of Menewsha to represent the latest Contribution Item on the front page. And for all these years, that in itself has been its own reward.

But recently we thought, "Y'know, why not give a little something to those who make it onto the home page? Admin Picks get the goodies, and so should CI previews."

And thus we have...

~~~Home Page Hawtness~~~

Each time a new Contribution Item is released, we search out two different users who we feel have used the CI best. Their two avis are then swaddled tightly, kissed on the forehead and placed on the front page.

If your avatar is chosen, it will not only be proudly displayed for all the world to see, but will also be recorded here in the Hawtness Gallery.

Remember: We want the CI to be front and center in your avi, but simply piling on every pose in the set will not guarantee the win. We're looking for creativity and seamless integration.

Your prize for making the front page? Your choice of 1 Contribution Item from a selection of past CIs! Alternatively you can choose the Mystery Box, which is made up of 1 or more shop items which has a combined value of at least 2000g! Or just skip the middle man and accept a cash prize of 2000g!

Now, there is no limit to how many times you can win, but not twice in a row. If your avi is chosen for the home page, you must sit out the next turn.

You cannot apply to have your avatar picked. These will be selected, in secret, by the staff.
They're a sneaky bunch.

So make sure your CI game is strong, and you might end up in the halls of hawtness!
