I do have a debit card. Last year, the multiple csr's I spoke with from PayPal all gave me incomplete information on how to link my card to my bank. Being put on hold and only being able to call during my downtime breaks only served to make the process longer.

This go around it was as simple as entering my card information and clicking the prompt button. Last year PayPal required a spefic transaction number associated with PayPal's test charge of my debit from my financial institution. The overall purpose being to verify my identity and that I was the rightful holder of the debit card linked to PayPal. All of this plus multiple email exchanges on the same i.d. verification process. It was unnecessarily tedious.
