He could sense the other looking at him off and on. The way he reacted were as confusing to him as his were to the other. Not knowing the other was confused by his actions though, he was left guessing and wondering what the other was thinking. His eyes moved to the other, as he spoke, agreeing to do the duet as well. He nodded, for a moment catching the smile the other returned to his. His own warmed a bit, before he watched the other's fingers move over the keys. He looked over the music sheets himself, as the other lifted a hand to begin with the first few notes. Akio raised his hand, when the second portion for the partner arose upon the page. He placed his fingertips on the keys, pausing for a moment as he waited for the note before it.

When it came time, he pressed down on the note in question, then another in time with Darius'. He followed the sheet music, keeping his eyes on the keys, rather than on the demon for a moment. One note after another, the song began to play out. The melody beginning to rise and fill the room, he listened to both parts of it, his and Darius'. For a moment he let the rest of the world fade away, letting there only be the melody. The music filling his ears and his mind. He felt like he had heard this song somewhere before, but where exactly slipped from his mind. One note after another, the song played out before him. He found his eyes glancing at the other, watching him for a moment as the music unfolded. He took a breath, continuing to play.

He relaxed a bit as they played, allowing his body to relax next to the other into the melody. It sounded nice, helping to ease the tension in a way. It became a bit easier over time, both seeming to flawlessly keep up. It was one note after another, no hesitation or pause, the music flowing seemlessly. He smiled a bit warmly, his eyes closing for a fraction of a moment. He allowed the music to completely fill and take over him. He felt for a moment like he was going to be deemed foolish for such things, so he opened his eyes once more. He focused on the music once more, playing in time to the other's part. The song slowly coming to an end, he paused, his fingers still on the keys.

He slowly allowed them to slip off, sitting in silence for a moment, wondering if the other would talk first. It was odd, Akio felt as if something had shifted. He did not know if the other felt it, but he felt as if something had changed. His eyes moved to the other for a moment, before he stood, picking up the book. "It has been a long day...I should let you enjoy your music..." his eyes turning to him for a moment. "I enjoyed hearing you play and being allowed to join you as well....it was...enlightening and nice..." he turned, slipping away from him to the door. "Goodnight....thank you..." he slipped out the door, allowing it to close behind him. He paused outside of it, leaning against the door for a moment.

He sighed, running a hand through his hair. What was this feeling? He turned, moving down the hall to the room he had been designated to. He opened it, before stepping inside. He allowed the door to close, locking it. He moved to the window in the bedroom after sitting the book on the end of the bed, his eyes moving out it. He had said goodnight, but he still did not know if it was night or not. He did feel a bit exhausted, the odd haze out of his system, everything that had happened weighing on him a bit. He sat by the window, his eyes on the sky. He doubted the other would follow him, and he did not blame him. He closed his eyes, a hand moving to clench over his heart. He clenched his jaw, a flicker of pain flashing over his face.

He was unable to return home. He was in an unknown world with a demon keeping him here. His eyes opening, moving out the window again. "What do I do..." he breathed barley above a whisper, to no one. He sighed, slipping away from the window to the bed. He figured he should at least try to rest, though it worried him a bit. What stopped demons or Darius for that matter to come in and do something as he rested. Still, depriving himself of rest would only do more harm. He knew he should eat something as well, but at the same time, he did not think he could handle something at the moment. His eyes fell on the book, a hand reaching out to pick it up. He sat on the edge of the bed, once more opening it to the page he had stopped at.

His mind flashing to the image of the other catching his place. His words, and actions that had followed. With a sigh, he tossed the book lightly onto the bed next to him, before he laid back upon it. He lifted an arm, placing it over his eyes. Darkness filled his vision, as thoughts swirrled around inside of him. Feelings, thoughts...so much had happened in one day. If this was to be what it would be like, things would indeed be odd. Though there was no telling that it would not get worse, or that it could get better. The future was unclear, and always shifting. He opened his eyes, looking up at the ceiling.
