Isaiah spent the next few days focusing on returning to his work-out routine from home. Keeping his mind focused on his own specific goals kept him from wondering too much about everything else, especially about Lumina. It also kept him pretty much cooped up in his apartment quarters so that he would see much less often. He read up on things he missed from training and how his friends had been doing. All the while, keeping himself as busy as possible until it was time for him to return to work and training.

The morning of his return, Isaiah arose early and was sure to eat well. He dressed up in his uniform, just a training garment really that made it easy for superiors and everyone else to identify his rank and class, and was ready to start the day. Everything will soon be right. He smiled as he reassured himself. When he left out the front door, as surely should have been expected, Lumina was leaving out her front door as well. It took a lot for Isaiah not to let out the most grievous sigh that he felt he needed to express, but Lumina just smiled gently.

"Are you headed out?" She asked, which was clearly already evident.

"Of course, and you are as well, I presume," Isaiah locked his door as she nodded.

"Do you think you could lead me to the main office? I have an appointment to meet with Captain Bauer and General Shamon this morning..." She was really uncertain, Isaiah could tell that much.

"Ah, yeah. Captain Bauer is in charge of all transfers and General Shamon is a good man. No need to feel anxious. I'll be glad to escort you there." He stuffed his hands in his pockets, something he usually only did when he was feeling a little anxious himself. Lumina smiled genuinely at him.

"Thanks so much!" She said, and they began their walk to the training base. Upon arrival, Isaiah pointed out the front office and bid farewell before heading to his own station where he met his training group.

"Good to see you man!" Garret greeted him with a heavy pat on the shoulder. "How ya feelin'?"

"I'm pretty good," Isaiah laughed.

"Yeah, Livi's been telling us sob stories," Julian laughed.

"Oh lord, what has she been saying?" He rolled his eyes.
