Terry thankfully took the food offered, still feeling embarrassed. He was glad that Reid didn't ask him how he had managed to be late and miss dinner. He had no idea how to even begin to tell them about the favors he did for Python and the others. He ate quietly, noticing the easel set nearby and the paint splotches on it that seemed to look like the night sky. Terry wondered if Reid had been painting it before he happened upon his bedroom.

He finished eating and again looked at Reid, opening his mouth but finding words failed him. He closed it awkwardly and shrugged. "Thank you," he muttered finally, trying to dodge Reid's glances. He couldn't look into those eyes... Those beautiful eyes that seemed to speak to him. Maybe Reid had had a troubled childhood too... "How did you find out? That you were gay?"
