Or maybe you've done something already? Tell me about it! I'm curious! :)

As for me, I fall into both categories.

I spent half a week in Maine partying with friends, went to my third GWAR show last Sunday, and was at another 21st birthday party last night.

Future events include: dying my hair black, another party Saturday, another 21st birthday party in July, and hopefully in August I'll be driving down to Virginia with my friend for the GWAR-B-QUE.

Basically, my summer is revolving around drinking and metal

So, tell me your plans! :D

Dunno yet. My 19th birthday is in July, so looking forward to that...

I don't get a summer break until July 30th to August 15th. Stupid classes....

Drinking and metal? Hahahahaha I applaud you.

This summer actually next week I'm moving to the city, I have a tool concert July 4th (super excited) and then just working my ass off to build up a nice nest egg and replenish funds after moving.

Debating going camping but it seems almost like too much work than what its worth. There are a few street festivals downtown during the summer anyway so I'll probably check them out.

Thanks lol I'm glad I'm making fellow fans proud

Congrats on moving! All that work's a pain in the ass. The Tool show sounds sick though so I'm sure that'll be worth all the pain and suffering.

I've never been camping in a tent, only in an RV once as a kid

I am moving to a different state next month to a bigger city and hoping to find work. Other than that, just working a lot at my current job until then. : /

lol Virginia......haha...lol...>.> I wonder if you'll run into some of my friends there. I'm not much into the metal stuff, but several of them are. XD

ummm....I've attended some high school graduations and helped my friend move into her first house. This Saturday she's planning another full moon sushi party, but with a smaller group since now she lives in a duplex and doesn't want to upset her neighbors. Other than that...I guess I'm not really doing much. I still haven't heard from the dive school about when we can get our SCUBA licenses, which is upsetting. And my move in to college isn't until September. So for now, it's just being bored at home playing solitaire and watching anime, and making an occasional $20 from side jobs.

Huuuummm, nothing really special is happening. I'm looking forward to some lazy days, maybe some shopping trips, going out for meals. I guess the biggest event is going to be the County Show - three days of helping my granddad with the chickens, browsing round stalls, and on the last day (19th August) my exam results actually come out. Sooo I guess I have a couple of things to look forward to ^^

Other than that, I'm just going to carry on as normal, maybe start thinking about getting a job. Doing some travelling would be nice. I don't want to think about my life right now, though. I just finished my exams today. I want a rest. A nice.. long... rest.... after a stressful few months...

That it is. Oh man I'm so looking forward to this concert its going to be.. BANANA'S. Srsly. Its going to be the pinnacle of 2010 - for me anyway.

Hahaha tent camping isn't so bad, if you have an air mattress. If you're straight up ground and sleeping bag - good luck!

I'm taking two summer classes right now.
Reeaal fun stuff. Well, actually, my painting class pertains to my interests so that's all well and good.

I've been doin a lot of swimmin with my friend and I saw Toy Story 3 (which led to bawwing).

Ahhhh seriously! I saw it on Father's day and my sister and I were totally into it.

I kind of wish I'd opted for Summer Classes. I'm so bored now. There aren't even camps I can sign up for since I'm apparently not getting a job, 'cause all the camps for people my age are Fat Camps. I mean, unless I were already involved with something for the entirety of my previous years of life....which I'm not. T_T

Me and my friend are just huge toy story fans. Considering that Toy story now has a trilogy, that has quite the time span in between each, the three movies have all done exceptionally well.

I'm searching for work, still, but no luck. :(

ya...I love that the movie grew up with us. Andy's going to college, and so am I! Of course, I'm a couple years older, but I've been at community college until this year. Come Fall...T_T

Work's been impossible for me. I get a few side jobs from people I know...but other than that, I'm lucky to even hear a "no." I doubt my applications have even been read. grrr D<

Yeah, it's tough. My mom constantly badgers me about it while saying stuff like "You NEED to show them how eager you are for a job, so start calling in now and again to check up on your app!" I can see what she's getting at, but I'm in the same boat as you. Everywhere I go is either: "we only do online applications", "oh sure, you can have an app oh, and by the way, we aren't hiring right now", or "we aren't looking to hire".

This one guy was flat out rude about it. I walked into his donut shop, just for an app, and he just cuts me off and says, "NO, we aren't hiring." I just pitifully asked if I could at least get an application and he practically said the same thing.

Ya, some places are really awful. I tried applying to Bath and Body Works for over Winter Break, but the manager refused to even give me an application because I said I was going to be out of town over Thanksgiving. I'm like...sorry for having a family that cares? 0.o

:) Yes...and it's still happening. This summer (just like the last) I am up at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire each weekend as part of the cast. Faire opens in two weeks and I can't wait for the Washing Well Winches...Johnny Pheonix, and I can't wait to do some archery and just sit and relax while watching the jousting. :) Can't forget the Chess Match and Checkers Match! XD

Lots of Toy Story 3 conversation going on. I saw that the other night with one of my best friends. It was well worth the wait!

Definitely. I wasn't terribly worried it would be bad, but I was still nervous about it holding expectations. And it's certainly exceeded them. Even my overly critical brother enjoyed it. ^_^

I just saw Toy Story 3 too! It's actually probably the highlight of my summer so far! Hahaha

And speaking of jobs, you think it's hard because you're going away for Thanksgiving? I'm out of town for three months. Basically, no job for Hermes.
