So, i'm about 1/3 through a piece i'm doing, and realized that i am physically incapable of doing any form of art (i paint, pen and ink, and digital art mostly) without listening to music, primarily Linkin Park (which i actually don't really listen to when i'm NOT doing art)

So it got me curious. Do you have any peculiar "musts" when creating a piece? Do you have to do something specific or listen to something specific?

Angel loves to listen to music when working. But this is for everything, not just art. Silence is Angels enemy. Even when she's asleep she needs music...

I hardly ever listen to music while drawing and stuff.
Partly because in my art classes, we couldn't have headphones.

There's only one thing: I have to draw with a mechanical
pencil. I can't use those normal ones. And the paper
has to be normal-sized, not over-sized, otherwise I get
intimidated and can't create anything. >__<

This is related to art, so I'll be moving this to the Art Discussion forum. ^^
