And that I why I generally never mention my birthday to anyone -- I'd rather just stay under a rock on that day, if I can.

I'm afraid of death so growing older scares me.
So I try to make the day a happy one.

Ha. I tried to "forget and avoid" my birthday one year... My friends surprised me the day before with gifts.

Friends have a way of doing that.
