The Serpent of Heaven~

Name: Raven (human name)/ in demon tongue, a rough translation of her name is "The Serpent of Heaven"

***note for first reference: Raven has red eyes and black hair, not blue eyes and purple hair xD She sometimes takes on a more innocent appearance to lure opponents and chnages her eyes color to blue~ and is is rumored taht she has a large, white stallion which is really Senow transformed

<> Age: (3034 years xd...as a demon) human wise~16-18 area

<> Personality: Strong, deceptive, vain, egotistical, overcompetitive, unsocial. Never ceases to surprise. Childlike, likes it when people underestimate her. Her pride makes her a decent person at times, but it also makes her hunt victims down to the ends of the earth. Can hold a grudge forever.

<> Physical description: About 5'4" in human height (as a demon, almost 8 ft?). Her face is sweet, though demons have the power to change their appearance at will so that no one (including herself) rememebers what she really looks like. Her eyes are ethereal and dark, almost faerie-like, ruby in color. Her nose is small, and her lips are full and wide. Her expression is usually intense- proud, taunting, or angry, rarely sweet.

Her hair is one of the most defining aspects of her.It is long, thick, black as...a raven!, and almost always messy. It curls to different extents, but never perfectly straight. As a demon, she kept it down past her feet as a luxury and a sign of her power (for few demons wear long hair~ it gets in the way during battle). As a human, it goes down her back.

<> Background: Raven was revered and feared by demons and mortals alike by the time she reached her teenage years (in demon~ about 1200 human years). She is a prodigy and got to that title through sweat and blood (not entirely her own). Known for her ruthlessness and her penchant for drinking the blood of worthy opponents; her own blood is highly sought after and rumored to have miracle healing affects.

She is known most for her companion, Senow, rumored to be the last surviving dragon (yesh, there are a lot of endangered species out there!). Senow is ageless, a huge beast capable of unimaginable power (most of which she is usually too lazy to use). Senow is white in color, and she likes to lounge in the snow. She was tricked by Raven into a binding contract of mutual service. Their relationship is part love, part mistrust.

Just a general note: demons aren't raised by their own parents, because that was thought to bred dependence and compassion, two despicable traits in a demon. Most are left to fend for themselves as babies, or in Raven's case, given to a "trainer." She never knew her parents, and once her trainer tried to push her off a cliff, Raven cursed her trainer to always stay more than 100 leagues away from her and has lived by herself ever since.

<> Drawing ideas:
There are two phases to Raven's life. Her demon phases and her human phase. Her story is actually very complicated (I've had her as an OC since 8th grade), and she sort of bounces back and forth between the two. For her human phase, one can draw her studying in a school uniform or playing with small, fire lizards.

In her demon form, she is probably lounging lazily yet very warily on a bed of fall leaves in the darkest part of the forest, her hair in a black net around her.

<>Age: 5-19, depending on which part of his life you wish to illustrate.

<>Personality: Arc has a reputation for being a deliquent at the boarding school, unkempt and as often in class as out. In the guild, behind his back, they call him radical and difficult for having dangerous and untraditional ideas. A brave few even assert that he is a murderer, killer of his own father. To his friends, however, he is one of the most loyal and kind people one could hope to meet. Many times cockey, but more so to get under people's skin than actual pride. Terrible at holding a grudge. Weapon of choice is sarcasm (although he is quite adept at longsword and dagger as well xD).

<>Physical desc.: Arc is quite lanky, 6'5'', with large, almond-shaped eyes like his mother, silver colored eyes characteristic of his nobility and his trade (necromancy). His face is very angular, and is most often in a playful smirk or rarely, sorrowful. His hair color is a palette of light browns. Raven believes the most beautiful part of him is his hands, which immediately marks him out to be an aristocrat, unsoiled by hard labor. His wrists, however, are scarred badly from an incident at age 5.

<>Background:
Arc suffered for most of his life, never knowing his mother, facing death and the harsh politics of the Necromancer's Guild from age 3, manipulated by his father, hated by his half sister; yet to those who don't know him well, he is seen as a happy child. His sense of rebelliousness leads him to deviate from the traditional beliefs of the guild, and he fights (mostly unsuccessfully) to free himself from being a puppet for his father, head of the Necromancer's Guild (aka King of Necromancers).

At age 5, Arc was lead on a Purifying Ritual (massacre of a secrificial town). He wandered off by himself and ended up playing with the local village children in the dirt, covering his face and hands with mud. When it came time to round up the children, Arc was mistaken for a native and was tied up with the other kids by wrist. Together, they were to be drowned in the lake. Arc, as a necromancer, lived longer than the rest, all the while kids pulled and sturggled to free themselves around him. Not only were his wrists severely lacerated (right word?) from the incident, he is to present day afraid to go near large bodies of water. The cries of his former playmates echo in his head as well as the touch of their spirits as they clung to him, a necromancer, to avoid being swept into the Black Gates of death.

At age 7, Arc was witness to another massacre by the guild. This time because some of the Northern Shapeshifters sought to cheat death by taking forms of creatures who outlive humans. The guild aimed to annihlate the entire species of shapeshifters, but they missed one...While wandering off by himself (Arc has a gift for doing this), he finds a small black kitten in the forrest and brings it home with him. he lives with it for years, and only at age 13 when he runs away from the guild does he find out that the kitten is in fact the last of the shapeshifters who managed to survive by an amazing feat of transformation at age 3. Arc, with his boundless imagination, named this cat Kitty, and because she does not recall her own name, Kitty stuck.

<>Lil' desc. of Kitty:

4 years younger than Arc, Kitty-the tomboy-is nearly as tall. She has tan skin, and her hair is short (little past her ears) chocolate brown and her eyes are warm amber, almost tangerine in color. Many mistake her for a pretty boy. She usually looks sad, and is prone to violence. Although she tries to hide it, and does it well, she has a very kind and nuturing heart.

She is very attached to Arc and once believed to be in love with him. However, their relationship is purely brother-sister. She can take the form of any beast, although her most comfortable is a black cat.

<> Ideas for drawings:
Arc sulking at his schoolwork (he is actually quite studious but hates to admit it). Arc in a confortable hoodie or white shirt curled up in a tree with a good book. Arc with large leather glove holding a small fire dragon. If you prefer to draw dark~ Arc holding a skeleton or conjuring dark spirits around him.

Kitty playing with Arc (a lot of hat stealing, arm-wrestling, hood-winking like of fun). Kitty with apples, her favorite fruit, or Kitty striking a fighting pose. She also uses broadsword and is very quick at archery. For those of you talented with Anthro, a picture of her morphing~ talk to me for her most comfortable forms.

Arc and Raven Couple refs:

Although Arcaine is a full head taller than Raven, their relationship is quite equal~part mutual respect, part twisted destiny. They both come from bad family backgrounds, so they not very touchy-feely xD But you'll often catch them walking closely together, hand-in-hand or just sleeping back to back in the school gardens.

Demon's Bride~

Synopsis: Demon's bride takes place in a world of turmoil. At the bottom of the Foodchain are humans, subserviant and weak, while at the top are the demons, omnipotent and ruthless. One rising power in the demon world is Rikken Tyrall, a prodigy mercenary. Driven by his overwhelming ego, he tried to steal Halo (a lengendary sword) from the Gods. Although he succeeded in binding this potent weapon to himself, he was outnumbered by the Gods and beaten badly.

Before the Gods would let him go, they cursed him in the only way possible to strip both his strength and pride: they cursed him to fall in love with a human girl. In a drunken rage, he sought all kinds of solutions to rid the curse, finally stumbling upon an old seer who gave him this advice: go to the nearest tavern and ask a special question. When you find the girl you can't stand, one whom you know you could never love, ask for her hand in marriage. The girl whom he hated with a passion: Sylo, a tavern girl who managed to keep her and her family alive by picking up the demon tongue and serving as translator. Quick and headstrong.

Seelie and Unseelie Debates~

<> Synopsis: This is an everyday story of high school life and palace politics. Nancy, a secret agent for the Seelie Court (an ancient assembly of pure-blood faeries...not the small, sparkly winged kind, mind you), recruited at age 12, has been fed political propanganda most of her life. She saw the Seelie Court as the crowning epitome of all forces of good in the world and the Unseelie Court as an evil cabal of monsters whose only goal is to hurt the human race.

However, her world changes when she meets Peter, her new stepbrother. Upon first impression, she thought him to be a nice, boring addition to her life, but little did she know that he was an elite member of the Unseelie court (later on, the Queen's Champion, right hand man). Despite his guiless appearance, Peter has a deep vendetta against the Seelie Court and its twisted roots seeped in innocent blood. He helps Nancy open her eyes to the terrible avarice beneath the gilded exterior of the Seelie Court and reveals the honor and good in the Unseelie Court. He shows her the grey between the black and white, and helps her discover her true background and the real reason why the Seelie Court would recruit an "ordinary human girl" like Nancy...

We're all Mushrooms (Mushies for short) and Better Than Ewe >w<! <3

My character is named Dizzy, a clumsy athletic fool with a heart of gold. She likes wearing light layers, especially sleeveless, almost always seen with a baseball cap, and her logo is colorful arrows going in many directions. A beaded knot from her bikini can almost always be seen beneath her tanks, for she goes swimming almost everyday. Her favorite sports are Tennis and Badmington. She also has two small blue star tatooes on her left shoulder and a sprinkling of freckles across her nose.

Winter~


Winter is a perpetually single, starving artist. She has thick brown hair always held back by crazy clips. She wears mismatched but cute clothes from Wal-mart or thrift shops, preferring scarfs and cute animal patterns.

She takes all kinds of weird jobs from trucker to baker to selling blood for a living (which is why she wears a million band-aids). She lives with 3 cats and a ghost named Charles. She also ocassionally writes brilliant columns to the local paper under the name of her cat, Mr. Peppers.

Leife x Heru ~

<> Synopsis:Taking place in an alternate universe, in a patriarchal society strikingly similar to Egypt in style of dress and appearance xD, the story revolves around Leife and Heru, childhood....enemies.

Well, to Leife anyway. From childhood, she remembers Heru as the boy who jumped into puddles to splash her, stole her textbooks, and stepped on pretty flowers she admired. They were also neck in neck competitors in class, both quite intelligent and at the top. After graduation, they both took intense national exams; and although their scores were equally impressive, Heru went on to serve as a prized counselor in the royal court while, Leife, a girl, was perpetually stuck in her hometown without decent occupation due to her gender status.

She bore everything well, until Heru comes back into town, a high official. Embarrased of her lowly status around him and after a series of harrassment (not from Heru, surprisingly, who's always had a huge crush on her...just had an immature way of showing it), she decides to go undercover as a male and retake the exam. She also scored high enough to land a coveted spot in the palace, but can she avoid Heru's attention? And if he finds out, will he cover for her?

Leah and the OtherWorld

Leah, resident of OtherWorld, is a guardian angel in training. She doesn't know it yet, but all guardian angels are lost souls who have commited suicide in their past life. Because they have such little appreciation for human life and committed ultimate sin, the Otherworld is a testing ground for them to prove themselves before final judgement. Before these lost souls can move on, they must prove themselves by saving another being's life. This is a lot harder to accomplish than it seems!

Leah has many unremarkable features--blue eyes, mousy sand-colored hair, and round glasses. However, her eyes are very big and doe-like, always filled with a bottomless sadness (and often fear). She rarely smiles, and always hunches up her shoulders as if in preparation for someone to hit her. Although her past is yet unknown, everybody calls her WallFlower Girl due to her timidness and talent for melting into the background.

There are a select few who call her WildFlower Girl, because she has a hidden inner strength and a great smile when she forgets her sadness.

Always seen with a HUGE scarf hiding her face, and often with an oversized hat or hoodie over her head. Keeps bangs long to cover eyes (doesn't like eye contact).

uhm, my exams end the 22th... but the 30th of june i get my results :D

[our summer holidays i from the first of july till the 18th of september^^]

i'm planning on finishing pending art commisions and maybe opening a shop in summer :D [with dolls :D]
