My birthday is coming up in less than a month (yay!) and I want to take my friends to a bar-n-grill or those chain restaurants near by my place. I'm wondering where I should take them because I'm planning to invite about 5 friends and possibly more. I care a lot about prices and qualities so anyone know any good places?
I've been to Caffe Demetre (oh gosh the ice cream kills you after three bites!), Boston Pizza, and Jack Astor's. So I'm eliminating those from my list because my friend took me to those places for their birthday and I don't want to repeat. Sorry, I have no idea where to ask this! But feel free to discuss about any relating topic!

XD I've never heard of any of those places. Aren't you Canadian?
I'm an American, so.... I don't know how much I can help you.
Anyways, happy birthday and I hope you have fun!

I have heard of none of those...BUT, if you are looking for a place to go my suggestion would be to get the menus off the places and look at them, see if any of them have food you want, then possibly if you have time or money eat at your top three picks.
But it isn't uncommon for only certain places to have only certain chains. For example there isn't a Runnza to be found in my home state but here at college they are a staple, same with a few other places.

Nope, I haven't heard of ANY of those places.... in the U.S., we have places like Outback and Lone Star (which have more Barbeque foods) and Red Lobster (over-priced seafood) and the like.
And all those places are usually PACKED.
I'm sure you could probably google for resturant reviews in your area. :3
Maybe that could help.

The only place I've heard of is Jack Astor's. Everything else, nope. XD
I don't think I'll be much help. I don't think it really matters where you take them though, I think a familiar place would be better honestly.

O:
You live in Canada?!
Same here! : D
Hmm....what about Kelsey's?
They're food is pretty good and it's a reasonable price. :3
Or if you're interested in burnt food you can go to Mongolian Grill? xDD
I haven't been there before, but people say the food is good if your into the burnt stuff.
Or King's Buffet or Mandarin; King's Buffet is good and you can stay for a long time, or Mandarin, I heard that place has best chinese food, but I doubt it. xD King Buffet would be better if your worried about price. :3
I have the same idea as you, except i'm thinking of bringing them to a movie and then to my dad's restaurant. :3

I like Buffalo wild wings as far as bar/pub places go. There's also a place here called Jed's which is attached to a concert hall, which has pretty good food and is cheap. It's great, especially after a concert.

Wow I didn't realize there were so many restaurants in each country that are only in that country o_o I think Starbucks and McDonalds are the only international restaurants I know of XD And I don't even know if Starbucks is lol. Maybe not... but nope, I've never heard of those restaurants in your list before either o_o;

Ask the people you are inviting to your birthday and ask them what they like to have and of course yourself and then base your decision on those choices.
