Ever hated your neighbors so much that you could just punch them in the back and not feel sorry for them at all? No, seriously!

First of all, my neighbor who lives to the left has children. They're between 1 and 6. (I think she only has two, one is a boy around 4/5 and the other is a baby).
Now, don't get me wrong, a baby crying is natural and something you can put up with. But it's when the parent's totally ignore the baby altogether. I don't know why they do it. Anyway, the baby isn't much a problem. It only gets slightly annoying when they ignore it for the whole day (this is has been rare lately, though. maybe the parents have been getting along better). Their little boy used to scream in the mornings.
I have two bedroom windows, one of them is right above my bed. In the morning, all I can hear is, "DAAAADAAA!". The father actually screams back at the boy, they encourage him to yell. I didn't want to be a rude neighbor, so I didn't say anything. But one morning I was in one of those two-thirds asleep, one-third awake states. All I remember is yelling out at the top of my voice telling them to be quiet, but I fell asleep after that and I don't know wether or not it was a dream. XD

Moving on, the neighbors on the right have two kids also. This boy and girl are aged around 10. Even now, they are screaming eachother and teasing eachother - natural for siblings but it's when they're yelling at the top of their voice even though they're right next to eachother. It's almost like as if they WANT the whole street to hear their fight.
The father in that house constantly screams at his children and you can always hear the domestic fights near midnight. I dont mind it as much, since I'm awake around that time, but then my mom gets all pissy. xD

It kind of makes me want to nudge those kids really hard in the back and tell them to be quiet. Not only are they extremely loud in the late afternoons (I'm not talking about playfully loud, I'm talking about top-notch screaming and yelling, wether its violent or friendly), but they are also really really rude.
Whenever they kick the ball over the fence, the girl climbs my fence and is like, DEADLY staring right into the house. And then she yells, "GET IT FOR ME!".
No please, no thank you, no consideration of the fact that people might be sleeping, busy, or even not at home.
And if she doesn't get a reply, she'll try again in 5 minutes. Just constant, 'Get it for me! Get it! Get it now!". She doesn't tell where the ball is, where it might be, or even if it's a ball at all.

<_<
>_>

Share your neighboring stories, maybe hearing other more dreadful stories might cheer me up.
If you don't have noisy neighbors, I want to move in with you. My friend used to live down the street from me, and when I slept over I kept feeling paranoid because it was too quiet. She just laughed at me and said I was the unlucky person in the street. D: Sandwiched between two households with very young children.

Note: Seriously, I do know that kids will be kids. But there is a limit, and sometimes too much is .. too much. :o

Woah that's just freaky actually, my neighbor wanted us to take naked pictures (us meaning my sister and I) He wanted us to make his ex- girlfriend jealous of him since he thinks we like him, well believe it or not, we don't. He shines into our window all this time and makes us get into picto chat and then his brother has a bowling ball (for children) that is plastic and it still hurts and his brother is only like 3 or 4 I think and then the child threw it at my sister and it hit her in the head.

One of my past neighbors, ugh....

He would come out whenever me and these two girls who lived next door to me were just hanging out in either of our front yards, followed by his kids and his wife. He would say really weird things.

Like for example, he told my friend that he saw her at her bus stop in the morning at the corner of the street we lived on. @_@

Then he said he was horny because he drank coffee. Haha. My sister is alright, she just cried then when she got home she stopped. Haha. Then when we walk our dogs, he just follows us on his bike and says, "sup?" Then I just walk, then I just say, "Eww." Then he just goes away. Haha.

Oh, dear... just had to get me started on my neighbors, didn't you? XD

I live in a three-story duplex in a, um, not particularly good part of town. If you don't know what a duplex is, it's basically one big house that's split in half to form two houses. When I first moved here, there wasn't anyone living in the other half of our unit, so it was nice and quiet.

Then, about a year and a half ago, this family moved in. I knew right off the bat it was going to be at least a little bit annoying, but I tried not to think much of it. If I'd known how bad they were going to be, I'd have probably decided to just move back to my hometown.

They stay up until all hours of the night yelling and laughing and just acting ridiculously rowdy. They get into fights with people that they invite over ALL of the time and, on several occasions, have participated in drug deals. We've called the cops on them a few times when it got REALLY bad, but Austin PD doesn't really care much. They just send one of their more lazy officers out here to tell them to "keep it down," which they do for about ten minutes after the officer leaves. Then they just go right back to the way they were before.

One particularly annoying thing they do revolves around the driveway. The driveway is split in half (so they have their side and we have ours). However, they do not hesitate to park behind our cars (so we have to go knocking on their door frequently to get them to move their vehicles) and many of the people they invite over have this annoying habit of parking sideways along the top of the driveway, which blocks everybody in.

I can't wait until they have no choice but to move out. I'm hoping that it happens VERY soon. I've had just about all I can take of them. I know that the area in which we live in is "affordable" housing for lower-class families, but that doesn't mean that they have to behave like they were raised like wild trash. :\

When I was little we had some bad neighbours. There was this family and they had kids. My sister and I were great friends with the kids but every night our lives were hell. They played really loud music till like 3am which I could hear from my bedroom. I was under ten at the time so I don't remember much, but my dad said one day the police came to our house and asked if they could set up a surveillance operation. Well a couple of nights later, we sat and watched through the windows as the cars rolled up, busted a party and arrested a fair few people. Never saw them again. We got a decent family in there on my 10th birthday.

My good neighbours moved away and a bad family moved in on the other side. They have a four year old who is constantly screaming and two dogs who are constantly barking and they never shut them up. One of the dogs has learned that when my sister shouts it had better shut up, the other one...She turns the hosepipe on it. And woe betide the owners if they try and confront her.

Me? I moved away from there a year and a bit ago and I have great neighbours.

Semele maybe he just likes stalking you. XD I'm not sure about you guys, but neighbors talking about the last place they saw you at is pretty scary (if not, kind of pointless, but still scary). >_<

Coon, tell them that their side of the house has Asbestos and maybe they will move out. xD
(aww, I'm just kidding).
Sounds like a serious pain in the butt.

Edit: Angelus, I'm glad you have good neighbors now. Your sister almost reminds me of my dad, who used to throw ice cubes on the neighbor's roof everytime they'd start fighting.

it's the only way she can get it to shut up. It's slowly learning though. It tends to shut up when she heads towards the hose.

Ohh... >_<

Our front left neighbours (we live in the back, they live next to our driveway) have five children ranging from age 0 to 10-ish (the youngest was born a few months ago). They're not really a nuisance during winter, but when the weather is nice, they play outside. Wait, they don't play, they SCREAM. Just that - they scream and occasionally they'll do something else while screaming. And eventually their mom will come out and scream at her kids to stop screaming.
Not only that, but a few years ago, one of their daughters decided she wanted a pony. What do the parents do? They buy half of their left neighbours' garden, build a fence around that half and a part of their own garden, and they put a horse in it. One that's too big for a little girl, she was only as tall as the horse's legs were. After a few weeks, the girl loses interest... and the parents dump all the horse shit on the dividing line with OUR property, providing us with year-round stink. Luckily that only lasted a few years, then they got rid of the horse.
Our left neighbours (they live next to our house itself) have just finished building their house, so they're relatively new. They have a labrador (I think), and every morning, they chase it onto OUR GARDEN to take a dump. While the dog's at it, it usually throws over the small kitchen-waste bin the law obliges us to have and tears apart the bags of waste in it, scattering coffee filters and rotting fruit peels and such in a 2m radius around the bin. Also, because there's a big dog in the garden, our own small dog does not dare to go outside alone anymore.

I told my mother to complain to them instead of swearing all over the place, but she doesn't want to "make the new neighbours feel unwelcomed". And she tells me she'll complain the next time the dog empties our bin, when it does she'll wait until it happens two more times and then she'll complain, ... It makes me want to force those people to build a fence around their garden >_<

Nah, we don't want to cause trouble. We would report them if it was any worse, though.
Recently they've been taking care of the baby, but on some nights no one wakes up to hold the baby when she cries. So we just have to listen to a baby crying at night. :\
It's fairly obvious that on those nights, the parents are ignoring her because NO ONE can sleep through that. It would be even louder inside the house than what we can hear from here.

<.< I'm kind of glad I moved away, although I kind of miss the friends that I had there.

I remember that we were out in the evening when it was dark and one of my friends had a condom, we filled it up with something...I don't remember what it was...and we threw it into their front yard.

I will not state which parties are who in this neighbor story...

Neighbor # 1 was shooting bottle rockets at Neighbor # 2's house, trying to set it on fire. It was the forth of July. Around midnight Neighbor # 2 put several firework mortar shells in Neighbor # 1's muffler and lit it. Massive damage was done. Neighbor # 1 had to get a new car. Neighbor # 2 and several other neighbors laughed. Neighbor # 1 moved away a couple months later.

The end. [True story.]

I get a long with most of my neighbors. However, the lady that lives below me decided to report me for a noise complaint a couple weeks ago. She lied and said I had parties all week long, so the manager at my complex wrote me a 30 day eviction notice.

It got thrown away because I explained to the manager that it was a one night thing, and the first time in the half a year I've been living here so getting evicted didn't seem fair.

Turns out, that lady, is a heroin addict.

And she gets into all these yelling fits with her son.

One of these days I'm going to report HER for noise complaint.
And have the cops come check her apartment for drugs. Bwah ha ha.

My neighbors to my left have a problem when
it come to mowing the lawn and working out
in the yard extremely early in the morning.
[They're an elderly couple who always have
children and grandchildren over to make
noise with them.] Its like he thinks that if
he doesn't have the shortest and healthiest
lawn in the neighborhood that his life will end.
The lawnmower is always running, and of
course my bedroom is the only room facing in
the way of their house and also the closest
to the house itself. I don't see why he can
be normal like the other neighbors and only
mow his lawn every once in a while and only
mow it when it needs to be mowed. [And
hopefully he decides to where a shirt from now on.]

And also behind my house is another elderly couple
who like to work on their yard. They aren't quite as
noisy or obsessive about it though.

To the right of my house is a couple who recently got
a puppy. They haven't trained it yet and it barks until
it loses its voice. They don't seem to notice or care
either. They also like to dump the dog at our house
every once in a while. Maybe they expect us to train
it for them? If dogs could have manners, this on has none.

Kay, each number is a different neighbor.

1. Ran over our dog, killing her, and didnt tel us.

2. Sexually harrassed me. Threatened to shoot our dog.
2a. The people who lived in this house before them posioned our dog and told us we had to cut down our trees because they were blocking the view of the airport. (The airport was like 50 miles away. you cant see it from here.)

3. Threw a dead goat into our yard to frame my dog for killing it when there was ample evidence that our dog didnt kill it. LIke for instance it was already stiff and it had only been there five minutes (we looked and there was no goat, then five minutes later, we looked again and there was goat.) And there was no blood. And our dog was on a friggen chain. They also said that we broke their kitchen window when our lawn mower shot a rock at it, even though that window had been taped up for years, and the lawn mower was in the back yard, with a whole house and garage between in and their window.

4. Made us get rid of our kittens because they were "beating up" their cat adn eating their cat's food.

5. Threatened to shoot our dogs. Were just total jerks to us.

There are more, but its more of just, I dont like their kids type things and all that.

Our neighbors are pretty crazy...

Cause on one side we have renters, the other side we have a daycare.

and across the street?

an elementary school.

It is pretty much noise central(oh and there is a baseball field down the street)...

BUT there is a bus stop RIGHT there so its great for me to just hop on the city bus and go where ever I want... and not worry about gas.
