Yesterday, I started this image to use for a roleplay profile. Now I'm starting to feel...not quite stuck but like I'm going to crash into a brick wall with it. o_o; Maybe I'm just tired, but some fresh eyes wouldn't hurt eh? :D

The shading is more of a place holder then anything else, and textures haven't been started yet.

I'd greatly appreciate a comment on this, whether it be ripping the image apart, telling me I'm being silly, or something else entirely. :3

I like the concept of the image and character design is really nice.

As for some C/C, the legs look a little off balance. They lean to little to (our) left, maybe positioning them to the right and having them centered will help make him look more balanced.

Can't wait to see more wips and the final piece :eager:

First thing I noticed was that the legs appear very short and stumpy, and that they get smaller as you progress down. It's a bit hard to fix now, but it's something to take into account for future drawings.

Other than that though, it looks great... I feel it could be slightly more detailed, but I don't know what your finished pictures are like so that could be a void point...
The colours are well balanced (I feel like I'm talking about an avatar) and the head design is interesting.

I'd say stick with it for sure ;)

You say the legs look stumpy? Really? When I was drawing them I kept thinking they were getting too long... then again I really don't draw digigrade humanoinds that often. Now that I'm looking at it though, only the feet seem small to me.
I can still fix it. :3 I'm phasing out the lineart as I go, the only reason its still there at this point is to clarify what I'm going for.

It's probably just me... now that I look at it more the overall character is rather stocky, so the legs don't seem so abnormal anymore...
