Because now the Southeast Asia version has removed the IP blocking so that people outside of there can play it. Granted, it's a year behind the JP version, but it's better than waiting for Sega to get off their butts and make an NA version.

I've heard a lot about this game O: I might check it out! What do you like about it?

It was pretty good overall while I was able to play it. Sadly, the IP block was reinstated, and I don't think I can get into the Japanese version(not for lack of trying, I just am not able to sign up).
