How many books have you read in your life? Me 480.

In my entire life? I haven't really kept tally... But, I'm sure it's qute a few.

How do you keep track????

If I'd have to guess I'd say over in the mid-to high- thousands, since I spent 3 years going through a book in 2-3 days... I've been reading since I was 6, I'm 18 (in 3 month 19), on average, I'd guess I read a book in 2 weeks now... uhg, I hate math....

I have no clue. I can say over 100 without a doubt.

I think that's pretty impossible to say, since I've been reading since I was 4. =/
Hundreds, though, I can tell you that. I read every day, and I have a tendency to tear through books pretty fast when I'm enjoying them.

I have absolutely no idea, but I know it's a fair few. I'm an avid reader (when I have the time to read, anyway).
As Scarebear said, I think it's safe to say over one hundred (I remember in fourth grade we had to keep track of the books we read and I read at least one hundred in that year alone).

I read A LOT. I've read 70 books this school year so far. So I've read way more than 300 at least. But I don't know for sure. :D

How can you keep track? I have read SO many...

I only started keeping track at the beginning of 2009... from then to now I've read 87 books. I'd say that's good for a year and a half.

I read a lot though, I probably couldn't even guess the right number that I've read my entire lifetime.

I wish I had kept track, because it's probably at least a thousand.

I've always read A LOT. Like, every spare minute of my time at school is spent reading.

Maybe now I'll start writing them down and find out exactly how many I can read in an entire year.

Well, I'm 23 now and quite a bookworm, so...A LOT. XD

I've read atleast one thousand or so within the past three years, but closer to three thousand in my entire life so far. I really don't keep track because it's impossible to recount every book I've read because I am not a consistant reader and never will be.

Hehehe... probably a couple thousand or more at the least. Been reading since I was 4 years old (going on 25 now), plus in kindergarten we had a reading contest in my class and my parents had to write down every title in full of every book that I read. Needless to say I won hands down by reading nearly 500 books just that school year alone.

I wouldn't know a number to even guess. I've been reading for forever, picking books over watching tv or playing video games, I spent most of my grade school and high school years living in the library. Especially when there were dances in grade school because my school librarian was awesome. But yea, lived in libraries growing up, I usually took out 3-7 books at a time and when I returned them two weeks later I was done with all of them, sometimes before my two weeks were up. And I own more books than I honestly have space for in my house. So I'd have to say well over a thousand at least.

Though really, if you're an avid reader, how do you keep track?
I always say I'm going to keep a list of all the books I read over the summer and by the end of the summer I've gotten so caught up in the reading that I forgot to care to keep a list...

I seriously have no idea how many books I have read. I am a total bookworm though, even if I haven't read that many of the classics the books I have read I have also re-read many times. I would put a guesstemate at about 300.

i havent read very many but when i read i think of nothing else especially other books usually anytime im reading it was out of a close friends recommendation and i fall into reading it in a corner of my room and dont stop unless absolutely neccesary id have to say though that its close to the hundredsif not in the hundreds to tell the truth i have no idea but i love it anywaays

I have no idea to be honest, haven't kept count. If I was to give a rough estimate, which could be wrong .. I'd say maybe in the 400's.

Shoot in high school I would read at least five books a week, sometimes even more.

I can't say I've counted. And I don't remember much from my elementary years. But in the last 2 or so years I've been going on Shelfari, where I like to add the books I know I have read to my "shelf". I have nowhere near put all the books I've read on there. But I know for a fact I've read more than 300. One school year, my friend, the librarian (and yes, I have plenty of friends other than school staff) guesstimated (spell?) that I read at least 100 books that year. I love books! I recommend Shelfari, by the way! Sorry if I'm going against any Menewsha rules, I'm kind of new. Sorta...

I know I read a lot of books but I have no idea how many books I've read in my hole life.

For the past 10 years or so I've read well over 50 a year, I read the 870 page 'Harry Potter' book in 3 days time. Not counting manga I have had to have read at least 600-800 books, with manga probably over 1200 or more.
