(I'm not quite sure if this belongs here or in horror)
Plot Summary
The feud between Vampires and Weres has been a long ongoing battle. The Vampires wish to use the humans as food, and the Weres and other creatures related to them seek to protect humanity from becoming enslaved, and screwing over the Vampires isn’t too bad either. Vampires may have power but they don’t have the numbers the Weres do with their allies. But now the vampires are looking to enlist the help of the Fae, very powerful beings to try and turn the tables, bribes will get you everywhere.
Though not everything is as black and white as you may think. There are some Weres, Dires and Witches that have aligned themselves with the Vampires. And some Vampires that have seen the plot to use the Fae as a bad idea and have sides with the Weres.. although, begrudgingly.
-It's a modern setting, so there are cities and parks and cars and the like-

Species
Weres - May change at any given time, though the change is painful and can take up to 15 minutes, even for the most experienced weres. The change is forced on a full moon and they stay in their animal form until morning. Becoming a were is no easy feat, you must be near death for the magic to take effect and the odds of surviving your first month aren’t very good. If you don’t gain control of your animal in the first year, the higher ranking weres will kill you in order to protect themselves and others. Allergic to silver, being shot with silver bullets won’t kill them but it’s extremely painful and hard to heal. They remain the age they were when they were bitten and heal very quickly compared to humans, though they heal faster in their were form then in their human form. Weres tend to take on the shape of large wolf like canines with more domesticated dog like coloring or other animals like large wild cats among other species. They tend to be larger then the normal animals they’re associated with. A were could stop mid transformation for a typical ‘werewolf’ like appearance, although they’re fast, they’re clumsy and awkward so most change fully into their wereform instead of stopping mid-way. Weres tend to stay in packs, but lone weres have been known to wander from place to place. They’re very territorial even in human form.
Dires – Like their were cousins. Dires are larger then their normal associated animals, but they have no human form. They tend to align themselves with earthly elements. They’ve learned human speech in order to communicate with their were cousins. They don’t heal as fast as weres but their hide is thicker then that of a were and they don’t share the same allergy to silver, though a bullet of any kind would hurt. The embodiment of brutal strength, speed and grace, Dires are hard to contain and don’t do well taking orders from outsiders. They follow an alpha based hierarchy, looking to their leaders for orders and guidance. Unlike normal Alpha hierarchy there are Shaman based Dires that commune with Gaia, the earth goddess. They take great pride in their goddess and make offerings to her in prayer. They usually pray to Gaia for safety of their group and for the food they eat. Dires do not take kindly to those that offend their goddess so one would do best to not invoke their wrath. The Alphas look to the Shaman’s for guidance if something seems off, but in the end the Alpha’s word is law. Shamans are closest to the elements they align themselves with and can often take on the form of their element. No Dire has more then one elemental alignment, and they don’t gain their element until they reach adulthood. They do not choose their element, their element chooses them.
Witches/Shape shifters – Though they have no elemental powers, they pray to the same goddess as the Dire’s do. These people are born human, and as a gift from the goddess are allowed to choose an animal form. They’re much smaller then weres and Dires but slightly bigger then the average animal they choose the shape of. They’re mortal and heal as any human or animal would. They only have the gift of changing into one other form, and that’s their animal form. Their change is almost instantiations, and isn’t painful. They are never forced to change, but they’ll feel anxious if they haven’t changed in a while. They are closest to Gaia in their animal form, and though they can’t speak human dialect in animal form, they can understand what others say and communicate with barks, yowls and growls- depending on their form. They don’t share any of the same strengths as werewolves and Dires, but they’re very fast and can outrun almost anything if they needed to. Some Refuse to return to their human form and live their life with the a Dire pack for protection because of their close relationship to Gaia. Their life is slightly lengthened by about thirty years,, some even longer if they show total devotion to Gaia. Those that displease the goddess are never to change into their animal form again and are forced to live the rest of their life as a human.
Skinwalkers – Unlike Witches, skinwalkers were born with the ability to change into their animal. They don’t rely on a goddess to do so. They can also see and talk to spirits. Though, the majority of this race has been killed off from vampires because their ability to see the spirits that cluster around homes of the living dead. Skinwalkers have heightened hearing and a sense of smell in their human form. They try to avoid associating with other supernaturals because they’re still hunted.
Humans – Mortal and frail they don’t pose much of a threat to those of a supernatural field, but that doesn’t mean all of them are oblivious to what does on. Weres and Witches still carry on relationships with humans, even stray Dires may take up human companionship, though they don’t take kindly to the term of being ‘owned’ but they’re happy for the company of understanding humans. Weres and Witches may also try to convert humans to join them. Although there isn’t much in the way of competition of the two, Weres offer power if you survive, were as Witches offer a closer relationship with the earth at a lesser cost.
Vampires – Where Weres seek to protect humanity, Vampires seek to use them. Vampires are dormant during the day do to their allergy to sunlight. Quick and catlike, they’re every agile and can evade attacks with ease- though if you have the right tools you can take one of them down, but it’s much easier to do so in the sunlight. Vampires are susceptible to blood memories, which leaves them distracted while feeding, looking into their victims memories and thoughts. Very few vampires can stand the sunlight, mostly because ancient vampires were hunted off as much as they hunted Skinwalkers. They’re still afflicted by their allergy but it doesn’t kill them like it does younger vampires. Ancients are blind due to their extreme age, the only time they have sight is in blood memories.
Fae – Other supernatural creatures. Posing as humans with a glamour the Fae aren’t as rare as one my think, but they don’t try to stick out. Ranging from all sorts of fairy tail creatures from Gnomes to Faries to Goblins. The Fae have a weakness to pure metal. It burns their skin if they touch it. Different Fae have different powers, but for the most part they try to blend in and not choose sides, if they can help it.
-------------------------------
Rules and Guidelines
-Ancient vampires are blind, but can withstand sunlight. There are no exceptions to this. If you can go play in the sunshine, you can't see anything.
-Everyone but Dires have a human appearance the second appearance is for Weres, Witches, Skinwalkers and Fae. Though if you have an alternate picture of the same person with a different outfit, that could work too.
-Dires, Weres and Witches are allies (Excluding the stray 'bad' ones) Skinwalkers are like Faes and try to not choose sides. Though they don't associate with Vampires, they just try to stay out of things in general.
-Try to keep Weres to Canines and Felines.. it'd be a bit awkward to have werebirds. Dires how ever can be any species (Dire Badgers ftw!) As well as Witches and Skinwalkers.
-If you're a human you can be oblivious to what's going on in the beginning or already know, but you'll need to explain how you're aware of the supernatural.
-Anything other then human speech should be put in quotes and italicized so we know it's not English but you're still communicating with characters in animal talk, but they can still understand what you're saying. So long as they're in a similar form. Obviously a werewolf in human form couldn't understand what a werewolf in wolf form or a Witch in animal form was saying. They'd just hear animal noises. the only exception to this is a Dire animal, and they can be a translator if they're in the same area.
-If you're having an inner monologue, put it in italics without quotes to show thoughts but you aren't voicing them out loud. No one can read your thoughts unless that's one of the Fae's powers, but it's still fun to see what characters are thinking and some thoughts may betray emotion so others will act differently around them. Obviously if you were thinking about something sad, your face would probably give it away.
-Fae can be any fantasy creature, save for unicorns and dragon and the like. To be a Fae you have to at least a somewhat human appearance like a mermaids and fauns if they're part animal. Try to stay away from 'cat girl' type characters. They'd technically count as Fae, but I don't want the RP to be over run with them when you have so many other options.
-When weres change it is extremely painful and takes a while, they can still run and move when they're changing if they need to evade an attack. Older weres are more use to the pain of the change so it doesn't bother them, it's just a normal thing to them, but for new weres it's not uncommon for them to scream and writhe in pain because it's something new. because they can heal faster changing won't kill them but they may feel like they're going to die.
-Weres and witches do their best keep what they are a secret.. but if you're dating a were or a witch.. you're obviously going to find out, of if your parents happen to be one. All were children are born human, but they also have to have a human mother. Female weres can't carry a child full term because they're moon called. but a female were could have a child from before they were changed if that's how the child knows about it.
-Because changing takes time for weres you may only be mid transformed by the end of your post. If you do fully transform in one post it should be at the end of your post and then allow the others to fill that tame to catch up to your time frame.
-These guidelines are not final and may be tweaked as I get more feedback, so be sure to read them over when the RP is up to make sure you have the final set of guidelines and rules for the RP
-'Type' after certain races is referring to what kind of were, dire, witch, skinwalker, or fae you are... canine, feline, ect.
-Well Fae, there are very few who can touch metals, but it's just the majority of the Faes can't touch metal. I didn't want everyone and their mom who was a Fae to not be allergic.
-As a Fae, it doesn't matter what size you are. You could be the size of a house... a glamor makes you physically fit into a human form when it's on. When you take it off you return to your original form. So bigger or smaller then a human, when you have a glamor on you fit into your human form.

Name : Whicha
Age: 16
Race: Dire
Gender: Female
Side: Weres
Appearance: [x]
Personality: Whicha is calm and level headed. She does her best to not speak out of turn, but only to those that rank higher then her. She has no problem speaking up to the lower ranks, whether it’s correcting them on something they don’t quite understand, or scolding them for behavior.
Bio: Whicha having full control of the wind element was chosen as the Wind Shaman of her pack. She was able to ‘phase’ into wind form when she reached adult hood and trained as a shamen under the elder wind shaman and took over upon their death.
Other: Wind Shaman.
‘Phasing’ can only be held for a few moments and doesn’t make her invisible. She can phase multiple times in quick succession but it leaves her exhausted so she does her best to avoid doing so.
Name : Satrin
Age: 19
Race: Witch - Wolf
Gender: Female
Side: Weres
Appearance: [x]
Second Appearance: [x]
Personality: Happy and outgoing, Satrin is a lover, not a fighter. She only has speed on her side in the event of a fight. She cares deeply for her friends and would be crushed if they were hurt, but she’s not much of a hero when it comes to defending herself.
Bio: Satrin became a witch at the age of 15 when she was taken in by her grandmother who is an old deer witch and taught her the ways of the Goddess Gaia.
Name : Lira
Age: 1600
Race: Vampire
Gender: Female
Side: Vamps
Appearance: [x]
Personality: Lira tends to keep to herself other then associating with her sires. She’ll converse wit other vampires if she’s called upon, but she isn’t really much or a conversationalist. She can act sweet and innocent as well as be cold and heartless when the time is called for, she’s had plenty of time to perfect her mood swings. She has a sweet tooth like any other child.
Bio: Lira was turned in the 400’s as a young girl. She was kept as a ‘pet’ for a while before she was turned and let loose to create her own chaos. She hasn’t matured physically past the age of 14. Through out her centuries of survival, she’s slowly earned the ability to walk among the humans as her sight left her. People might mark her as an easy target at first glance, but she’s far from the weakling her body makes her appear.
Other: Ancient vampire
Name : Kiki
Age: 17
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Side: Unknown
Appearance: [x]
Personality: Kiki is one of those ‘I’ll believe it when I see it’ kinds of people. She prefers facts to rumors and usually has to experience something before she’ll believe it. Though even if it’s real, she may talk herself out of believing it if it seems too out there. Fantasy creatures aren’t really something she believes in, but she did once when she was a child.
Bio: Kiki attends high school and is blatantly unaware of what’s going on around her. Satrin is her second cousin but they don’t talk much and she thinks of her as a bit of a weirdo. Her parents have distanced themselves from that side of the family but she was never really sure why.
Other: She’s hear murmurs of strange things going on, but she isn’t quite sure what to make of it.
--------------------------------------------------
Whicha snorted softly looking to the small Witch at her side. She had conversed a few times in the Witches’ native tongue, human, before, but now the growls and whines that were much more to her liking were easier on her throat and ears. The wolf’s ear tip barely reached her shoulder standing beside the wind Shaman “Young one, what is it you seek here? You know I have no power of my own to act on my own. They only heed my warnings, they do not take my orders, it is not my place, nor my right. How do you expect me to be of any help to you…?”
Satrin whined softly dipping her head, feeling even smaller near the large white dire wolf. Her tail tucked between her legs as she pointed her maw to the ground like a child playing innocent. “I don’t wish any harm to come to those I know and care for… my family will be in danger if things continue to progress the way they are heading. I can smell it on the wind and feel it through the ground. A change is coming, unlike anything you have face before. Please... if only you could speak with the alpha about giving protection to outsiders. I couldn’t bare to see my family torn apart….”
Lira smiled softly, a collapsible walking stick tapping ahead of her as she listened quietly to the warm blooded meals around her. Of course she, being a ‘child’ should have a guardian, but not many of her kind are daywalkers, they’re much too young. Any normal child might have had a seeing eye companion, but a canine was most foul to her senses, and they tasted horrible. Not to mention nearing any of her kind they’d become defiant and then cower like a puppy upon realizing what they were challenging exactly. The frail looking girl moved through the crowd silently, her tongue running over her canines as she made her way to a shaded over hang. The sun may weaken her a bit but no mutt would attack her in broad daylight, much less while she was in a crowd of warm bodies.
Kiki whined and bit her lower lip as she jogged in place waiting at the cross walk for the light to change. “Oh, I’m going to be late, I just know it.. these lights never turn fast enough, and people never learn to get out of the way.. ah-hah!” She charged forward sprinting through the cross walk to the next stretch of concrete jogging the next few blocks, light cooperating for the most part. “Slightly less late, but that’s not going to change the fact that I’m still late..” She glanced at a small girl holding a long collapsible cane and jogged in place again, curious. “She shouldn’t be out here all alone..” She looked around to try and see if she could find anyone that looked remotely like the girl or someone who seemed a bit frantic and out of sorts. “Some one has to be looking for her… well I’m already late… H-hey.. hun..?” She made her way through a few people who crossed her path to the young girl. “Where are your parents? Are you lost?

Name : Lara Monroe
Age: 30
Race: Skinwalker - Mountain Lion
Gender: Female
Side: Weres
Appearance: Lara
Second Appearance: Lara - Mountain Lion
Personality: Lara is different. She loves to tease but she'll never follow through. She has the whole "I'm-here-but-out-of-your-reach" persona down. though she's wary about seeing spirits in case a vampire is in the area. She'll talk big, but in the end Lara will run if anything fanged is involved.
Bio: Lara has been running for most of her life even from the Weres. She counts herself on their side but Lara has never spoken to a Were.
Other: Lara is one of the few Skinwalkers left and she's only survived this long because she denies what she is even to herself.
Name : Benjamin
Age: 1000
Race: Vampire
Gender: Male
Side: Vamps
Appearance: Ben
Personality: Ben is vain above all else. The blindfold he wears is to hide his blind eyes. He doesn't like talking to other Vampires period and he will tell a human that asks that the sun hurts his eyes not that he's blind. Ben can be playful but he is always cruel and vain he doesn't have the ability to change his personality at all.
Bio: Ben started to freak out as he got older and lost his sight. It might have been comical had it not been so obvious that he didn't like going blind at all. Eventually when he lost the last bits of his sight Ben started using a blindfold, he felt that his eyes took away from his beauty and Ben couldn't stand it.
Other: Ben will often feel his way to a mirror and just stand in front of it even though he can't see.
-----------------
Lara watched people. Not just living people but dead ones. There were a lot of them out today. Vampire. Her whole body was tight with anticipation. She had to get out of here. One spirit languished at her feet raising it's hands as the sun shone through them. "Help me. Help me" Lara ignored him. It was dangerous this ability of hers. She hoped if she didn't visibly look like a skinwalker the vampire would not notice. It was a redhead male. Blind. He was very old if he were out in the sunlight, he didn't use a cane though he just kept a hand against the walls of the buildings. She wondered if he knew how dangerous that was. But then he seemed oblivious to this. There was a scrap of cloth hanging around his neck as though he had been wearing a blindfold. She had to move. If she got too close her life may as well be forfeit. She wouldn't have known if she hadn't seen the telltale spirits hanging around him.
Lara's brown eyes skipped away from the ancient vampire. He'd killed so many. Her stomach turned. Act normal. Lara turned around aware that the vampire was getting closer to her position. "Damn, I left my wallet" She mumbled to try and not seem odd for reentering a bakery she'd just been inside. She slipped through the doors once more hoping the vampire would keep walking. He did. Lara relaxed slightly. "Can I help you, miss?" Lara blinked having forgotten she was in a room with others. "Left something in the bathroom" She said moving towards the door that had the sign on it.
Ben was aware his blindfol was not in place. But this was a hunting tactic. People made automatic assumptions about a blind man. He looked only twenty that was old enough to be out and about alone. However since Ben absolutely refused to get a cane he looked a little congruous. I can feel the sun. I just can't see it, Ben thought slightly annoyed. It had been a very long time since he'd seen the daylight. There were many deliciously warm bodies a woman brushed against his side he felt the brief throb of the veins in her thigh.
"Oh, excuse me, sir" She said flustered that she'd just basically run over a blind man. Ben kept his expression neutral, his nostrils flared. If he could just find a place to drain her. Ben was hungry he didn't want to wait around until nightfall and he had gotten quite used to finding places in broad daylight where there were no eyes. "That's fine I assure you" He said softly. Ben's voice was the one thing he could be certain was still beautiful. He used the fine speech of the Victorian Era, such a cultured time a pity to see it run over by this new time. He found it vulgar how many people spoke incorrectly.
"Where are your parents, are you lost?" Ben blinked. For a moment his attention wandered away from his prey. "Are you ok?" Two different girls. With his concentration broken the woman wandered away with a quick apology. Curse it all. Ben steadied himself with a hand. He was quite used to getting around with out a cane but he'd heard the distinct tapping noises of one earlier. Another ancient? Or perhaps it was simply a blind girl. "Is there a problem?" He asked feeling his way closer. Best to check this traffic jam out.

The large white canine sighed with a soft snort and shook her head. "We cannot allow outsiders here.. relatives or not.. they are not our kind, nor to they respect our goddess.. the weres are different... they are our allies.. but... humans... Our alpha would never allow it.." She gave a soft yawn and stretched slightly, her ears swiveling gently as she listened to the wind as it rippled through her fur. "I am sorry child, but it is simply not my place to tell you that you can bring your family here Your grandmother was a good Witch and our pack sympathizes with your loss of the old one.. but we cannot allow outsiders to be protected here.. it puts us at too much risk."
Satrin whined softly and dipped her head again. She knew better then to bother to argue with the large wolf. She shifted into her human form and wiped her eyes slightly, annoyed at herself that she allowed herself to show her emotions so openly, but she knew the Dire wouldn't take it as a sign of weakness, they knew this emotion well, sadness was no stranger to them. "Thank you for your time." The Wolf nuzzled her under her chin in an effort to cheer her up. A small smiled cracked her lips as she wrapped her arms around the wolf's neck. "I know, I know 'you're still have much to learn young Witch'.. you've told me many times before.. but it doesn't mean I can't be upset about the outcome.." She sighed and gathered her clothes, pulling them over herself tying her hair back as she looked to the direwolf. "But I can't just sit by while this is going on under their noses.. I have to do something.." And before the Wind Shamen could object in words she;d understand Satrin took off through the woods towards the outskirts of the city.
The young vampire smiled softly, she knew how to do that well enough as she tilted her head listening to the girl. Human.. I can almost taste it... She opened her mouth to speak before she caught the scent in the air. A mutt... Her lip curled slightly but she did her best to control her facial expression to continue her smile, thankful she was slightly downwind of the werewolf and she had masked most of her scent with perfume. "Oh, I'm fine thank you.. I'm just waiting.." She'd half to let the human go if there was a werewolf so close. She paused and tilted her head again, another scent peeked her curiosity as it got closer. My my.. this is a rare occurrence.. I know him... I've come across him once or twice before... what is his name...? "Benjamin!" She smiled turning her head to the male, not that she could see, but it was old habit to look to who you were addressing. She reached out her hand her head tilted to try and catch his hand. He was 600 years younger then her, but physically older then her. It would probably look weird that someone of her appearance would be waiting for a man of his age, but for all they knew he could have been a family friend who was helping her with her blindness. "You should know better then to keep a lady waiting..." She murmured, trying to convey a sense of authority over him. She didn't make him so she had no real right, but she wasn't sure if he had caught scent of the were quite yet, him playing along would probably be vital to both of them continuing their existence.
Kiki blinked a few times, smiling softly to the woman who had come over to investigate as well. "Oh, I see I'm not the only good Samaritan today..." she giggled softly and watched the girl quietly. "Waiting..? Waiting for who... oh!" She blinked looking over to the man that had approached them, straightening out her clothes slightly, feeling a bit off near him but she couldn't place it. "Oh, you two know each other..?" She looked over the man once more, It was slightly suspicious, but she could tell he was lacking the same sense as the girl. It didn't seem to bother her as much after that, but the situation was still confusing, there was no way she was going to be on time now.

Lessa smiled at them.
"Well since things are handled now I will be leaving."
She smelled the air and then stopped a moment.
they were vampires. What were Vampires doing here?
She rolled her eyes and walked away slowly keeping an eye behind her for an attack. She went to the outskirts of the city and paused she smelt something. Someone was close by. She climbed a nearby tree to wait and see who it was. At least in human form she could climb a tree.

Lara saw the stall in traffic. Oh, good God! She whimpered and hurried to the bathroom. So many dead souls. They congregated around a young girl and the redhead. Lara looked at her pale face in the mirror. She was in danger. That much was obvious now. You count yourself as part of the Weres...and yet you're scared to even face one of them. She though, then almost immediately she heard her father's voice cautioning. "Lara, you'll be hunted. The vampires will want to kill for your ability to see ghosts. You have the ability to pull the cover off of them. Be careful...don't ever trust another Were, Witch, Dire, Fae or even Skinwalker" She was only protecting herself.
"Are you okay, Miss? Have you found it?"
"Ah...I lost a contact...be out in a minute..."
"Okay"
Lara slid to the floor. Her peaceful existence was going to end. Either by death or she'd be sucked into this war. She didn't want to be. If Lara had her way she wouldn't get involved...but her conscience would beat her for the rest of her natural life if she didn't try to help. I don't want to.
There was a slight shift in the wind. Yes, that was another ancient. She was hunting the human. And this...mutt was interfering. Ben bristled inwardly. Disgusting. Proving his instinct the Ancient spoke. Lira. He'd met her once or twice. She had six hundred years on him though. That makes it worse. This mutt is interfering. He too was hungry but if he could in anyway help Lira he was going to. So he played along. "I'm sorry, Lira" He said graciously. "I didn't mean to leave you waiting. I hope you did not suffer from my absence?"
He placed everyone as another whiff came to him. Good thing that he'd gotten into the habit of wearing a masking scent. Only the very young or the very foolish did not mask their scent. And Ben was not foolish. He'd survived one-thousand years so far and he planned on going for at least another thousand. Lira was just in front of him, the were was to his left and the human was to his right. "Yes, we know each other." He said turning to Kiki. The Were left. Good. But that further complicated things. He wondered if his manner was subservient. That would seem...odd, physically he was older than Lira, but she also hadn't made him so she didn't really have a right to order him around...then again in most circles the young respected the old. In this situation Ben was younger.
His mind chased itself around in circles. He waited silently for Lira's next cue. She knew the situation better than him.
Lara poked her head out of the bathroom and vacated the store quickly. Damn! They were still there. She didn't want to looks suspicious. Her stomach turned again. What a mass of ghosts! "Help..." Slowly Lara turned her head. She was confronted with a face much like her own. She felt sick. "Mom...?" Her voice came out as a squeak. Luckily an older woman had been passing by at the moment. "Oh, no, child. I'm sorry. You were looking for your mother right?"
"Ah..yeah. She looks a lot like you" The woman smiled. "We all make mistakes" Lara's mother touched her daughter's shoulder. "Daughter..."
This complicated things.

Lira smiled softly, glad he learned to play along. She listened quietly, hearing the werewolf back off, a smirk forming on her lips, not that he could see it of course, but it carried over in her tone. "I've known Benjamin for a while.. he just recently lost his sight.." She mused, turning her head to face the girl.
"Oh, I see.." She smiled, "So you're helping him.. I'm guessing you've been blind for a while..?"
"Ages..." She murmured, her tongue licking over her fang slowly, every instinct of hers was telling her to pounce, but she knew she had to restrain herself, public displays weren't the best way to feed, nor keep out of trouble. She wouldn't be able to defend herself very well if two or more Weres got wind of her activities, she'd have to wait and see if she could bait the girl a bit longer. "But I've gotten use to it." She smiled once again collapsing her cane. She didn't really need it, her ears were well tuned enough and she could catch herself faster then a human could if she tripped over something, but it helped sell her helpless act.
"I couldn't imagine how it must be like to not be able to see." She frowned softly. "The closest I can get is walking around without my glasses, but I can still make out shapes and colors.. I just can't read much.." She giggled softly rubbing the back of her head. "I'm sorry, I was going to see if I could help, but you don't seem to need my help at all."
Lira frowned softly. "Oh, it's no trouble.." She murmured, trying to think of a way to get her to stay, usually she was alone when she lured in her meals, running into Benjamin was making this a bit harder, and nothing was coming to mind, she was going to get away for sure, and that didn't sit well with her.
Satrin sighed pulling her backpack over her shoulder she paused tilting her head. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end for a moment as she looked around cautiously. she chewed on her lower lip and closed her eyes listening. She could make out the faint sound of someone breathing. She looked to the tree and frowned, squaring her shoulders trying to make herself appear bigger then she was, but the skinny witch knew she'd be no match for what was lurking and watching if it were an enemy. The best she'd be able to do is shift and run to the Dire pack without tripping over her clothes as she ran. She glared at the tree, unsure if she could outrun who was lurking. "I know you're there.. show yourself..."

Lessa growled as she hopped out of the tree. She walked over to the girl and looked at her.
"Who are you?"
She had never smelt anyone like this before. She smelled human yet somewhat different. She wasent sure what made her different but something sure did.

Ben's eyes narrowed slightly. Now what was she waiting for? He was beginning to hunger. The closest human was this girl. But she wasn't his prey. Ben didn't intrude on others hunts. It was rather painful though. His canines brushed against his lips reminding him he was in a crowd of humans. Excuses, excuses. Ben had the feeling that Lira's prey was going to escape intact just as his had. Lira was hungry as well. Ben wondered if he could get her to stay, because it was obvious that he was in Lira's way at the moment.
Ben did the first thing that came to mind. Fall. Like most vampires he could've simply righted himself immediately. Technically it wasn't a fall, for a human hitting the ground at Ben's speed would've hurt. Ben felt barely a twinge. If he could attract the human's attention then find an excuse to leave. Tantalizing smells were coming from all around him. But Ben picked out another. Skinwalker. That was something he'd not smelled in a while. From his lower position Ben could figure that the Skinwalker was upwind of them. Dangerous, position.
Lara felt the shift in the wind almost immediately. Her eyes locked on the redhead. He knew. What they were doing with the human was obvious to say the least. Lara's heart pounded in her ears. Walk away... just walk away... But her mother's ghostly face was floating near her. One of those bastards killed my mom. Before Lara knew what she was doing she'd dived into the fray. "Saw you fall. Are you okay, sir?" She saw the Ancient's eyes narrow. No hiding it now.
"I'm fine" Ben said Leveraging himself upwards. This Skinwalker was dangerous. He wondered if he could kill two birds with one stone. Lure this one away and let Lira hunt in peace. Her smell was feline. You made a ba mistake, little kitten

(Sorry about that guys, I had to deal with something but it's fixed now)
"Satrin.."S he huffed softly she smelt wolf, her shoulders relaxed slightly. "I'm a Witch" She mumbled crossing her arms defensively, pausing for a moment to consider the options. "I've never seen you around before.." She murmured and shifted her weight from one foot to the next. "You don''t belong to any of the local packs do you..?" She raised an eyebrow, unsure if there were would be quick to anger or not. She knew she'd have a good fifteen minute start on her if she did try to attack and transform. For now she stood her ground, females were less quick to anger then males from her experience.
Kiki squeaked blinking down at him. "Oh my, are you alright?" She knelt down in front of him frowning softly. "Here.. let me help you.." She offered her hand, but soon felt foolish knowing he couldn't reach out and grab her arm because he couldn't see it. She figured she'd correct his reach with hers if he did reach out. she wasn't sure if he was too proud to accept help or not, but she wasn't about to just ignore him.
Lira smirked softly. She could feel the vibrations of Benjamin hitting the ground, a stall tactic. she flicked her hair over her shoulder boredom. He was trying to help and it seemed to be working, but he was slightly distracted. Why? She sniffed slowly, trying to find the scent that was causing his attention to be drawn away, even if it was just for a moment, she picked up on it. she soon found the scent that was rousing his attention. "Here kitty kitty..." She whispered under her breath knowing the human couldn't hear.
A ghostly Doe walked forward towards Lara, a shine of wisdom in her old eyes. She paused in front of her, her spirit shifting into an elderly woman her head bowed. "Please... you must save her... Save her and you will yourself... there is a war coming... I beg of you... save my granddaughter... She knows not what she has found Skinwalker..."

Ben reached out blindly figuring the human reflex to help had caused her to put out a hand. But the hand he grasped wasn't the human's. The Skinwalker had gotten in the way. "You're in hot water, little kitten" He whispered.
Lara grasped the redhead's hand before the human could. Her eyes caught the ghost of the old woman. Her mother's ghostly hand reached out to pet her hair. "Help my daughter. This is what you were meant to do" She ignored Kiki. As she helped the readhead up his whispered to her in a modulated voice. Lara had also caught the other ancient's comment. "Did you slip?" Lara asked sweetly.
"Oh yes. I wasn't watching where I was going," Somehow the joke seemed a little darker than intended. What was a Skinwalker doing so close to a pair of vampires? Ancients at that? "Thank you" He said to both.
"Be brave" Lara heard her mother whisper. The air was simply clogged with spirits. Lara though there would be no breathing room. But the two that held her attention were the old woman/doe and her mother. They seemed to stand out. "Maybe you're the one who's in hot water" Lara breathed just loud enough for both vampires to hear.
Quite the bravado. Ben thought irritatedly. Would the human be moving on now? How could he feasibly exit? In his hunger even the Skinwalker's feline scent was slightly appetizing. Of course he'd hate himself later, with so many warm human bodies milling around why would one voluntarily choose to drink such unappetizing blood?

Lessa stared at her a moment.
"I belong to no pack. I am my own person. I live with a freind. She hates the vampires also. She along with her son kill them on a regular basis."
She stayed where she was just watching.

Name : Kira
Age: 27
Race: Witch/Horse
Gender: Female
Side: Undecided
Appearance: [x]
Second Appearance: [x]
Personality: Kira's quiet and keeps to herself. She'll speak when spoken too unless someone's being really stupid and she'll be more then happy to tell them.
Bio: Kira travels around to city to city and town to town posing as a magician to earn money.
---------------------------------------------------
Sofia walked along the street with two men behind her. They looked human but anyone who wasn't human knew better. They came off as a gang. She placed her hand on her hip as she tilted her head sighing. Sofia knew they were safe during the day since vampires that would walk during the would be blind and most liking not want to deal with three full werewolves. She patrolled her territory with the two other members of her pack. They walked slightly behind her to show respect even if they weren't happy about her being alpha but they knew she could kick their ass.
On the other side of town Kira walked the streets looking for a spot to preform her tricks to get money. She needed to eat and get a place to stay. "I wonder if this town will give me a good profit..." Kira tilted her head smiling to herself. "Though I can sense many creatures in this area...." She chuckled slightly. Kira played with her sliver necklace that held a sliver loop that protected her from vampires and werewolves. "I do hope I don't run into anything nasty..." She sighed placing a hand on her hip. "I'm starting to get hungry...all this walking is hurting my feet"

Satrin frowned softly. "I do hope your friend isn't human.. killing vampires is serious business.. if they get wind that there's a hunter in the area they'll stop at nothing to kill them...." She sighed softly and shuddered, her back stiffening as she turned completely, looking down at an empty street, but she could smell them. She sighed and relaxed a bit dipping her head as a sign of respect as Sophia rounded the corner. "Ma'am.." She murmured with a soft smile. She wasn't part of the pack, but she communicated with them often enough. And she knew better then to stand against an alpha. the only thing she could win against them was a race, but in combat she'd be dead soon after they finished transforming. She paused and frowned softly looking over her shoulder. "She isn't one of yours... She's a lone wolf.. scared me half to death coming in from speaking with Whicha..." She murmured and huffed softly crossing her arms. It's not exactly polite to be lurking when there's an alpha present... you should at least show yourself as a sign of respect of the owner of this area..."
Lira smirked softly and raised an eyebrow. "Hnnn.." She sighed softly and reached forward locating Benjamin's shoulder. A soft hiss in her tone. "Come on, we're going to be late.." the girl formed a pout to keep with appearances. It was obvious that the skinwalker wasn't going to take this lying down, and she had sight as an advantage over them. the couldn't make an attack in broad day light, but there were bound to be plenty of others to choose from along the sidewalk, and plenty that had no protectors. It was easier to move in and find another meal then to pick a fight with a skinwalker over a human when they didn't have the upper hand. She smiled softly in the direction of the two girls. "Thank you for your help. But we really must be going... We have to grab a bite to eat."
Kiki blinked a few moments. She was confused as to what exactly was going on, not really able to make out the muted whispers over the noise of the traffic behind her. she sighed softly and shook her head. she tilted her head when she heard Lira speak again. "Oh.. That's alright, I'm sorry to have taken up your time, I didn't know you had plans. I hope it wasn't too much trouble."
