Hey strangers,
I’ve actually been here for a while, but I didn’t decide to talk to anyone but my Jitter friend until tonight.
I'm 18, an insomniac, and I love my cat… who happens to be glaring at me at the moment. While I’m pretty good with pets (including fish), I’m not so good with household plants. I’m absolutely tickled pink that the plant in my room has survived one, two, and now three summers! It looks a little dehydrated, but it’s pulling through. Poor thing.
I have this thing… about syntax. I try really hard not to use too many compound sentences in a row. I do love compound sentences, but I get a bit carried away. If you role-play with me, you may begin to notice this little quirk in a few posts. Generally, I make an effort to vary it.
I also love commas and ellipses a little too much. As I grow tired, I use more. I also double space between sentences.
Quite obviously, I love writing. I’ve been writing for nearly half my life. I would say “writing seriously”, but I don’t write instructional manuals or text books. I’ve been role-playing for many years as well, but I haven’t counted those years. It all began with a character I named Sparrow. I do remember that. Those were the days…
Anyways, I have some serious experience in writing. I was the copy editor of an award winning yearbook this year. Sadly, I graduated and was forced to retire. I’m at peace with this because for all my hard work I won Editor of the Year (this was a state thing) along with my co-editor. The plaque they gave us was far from expensive, but it looks well-designed and has a shiny border. Yay! It was the best award I won in yearbook but not the only one. That's enough bragging, though.
Enough about me. I think I’ve hit the most important parts by now. Time for friend making!
