haha, lots of threads and posts to make up for lost time.

Well, i'm one of those people that craves music and sound. Asking me to sit down at a computer without music is impossible. Even if you're standing over my shoulder, i' ll be determined to turn the music on.
At night, I hate silence. My fear of the dark doesn't matter. It's the silence that gets to me. I have to turn my tv on. It doesn't matter what show, it just has to be on.
What about you? Any special things with sound?

i'm the same way, except at night. at night, there are times when i have my ipod in my ears, and then there are times when all i wanna do is lay there and sleep in silence. i usually listen to my ipod when i'm asleep when i'm exhausted or extremely tired.

also, as for sounds, if i find some kind of sound amusing or pretty amazing sounding, then i replay it over and over again until i get bored of it and then just wait until next time till i hear it again. xD like, i absolutely love the sound of a droplet dropping into a still mass of water.

I'm with you there. Silence just seems like death to me. I'm listening to music right now.
Even if I'm meditating I usually have nature-ish sounds playing, to help me loose focus.
But for sleeping, I love silence in the dark *shrugs* I'm weird, I know.

I love sound, but as a musician I also find beauty in silence. I consider silence as my canvass on which to "paint", but I almost always have some sort of music playing, or I'm drumming on tables or singing. The only silence I can say that I truly enjoy is the serenity of winter, when the snow is covering the ground and everything is dormant until the dawn of spring.

I like music, usually, but I also like to just sit in silence sometimes. This is usually because I am too lazy to plug in my iPod and listen to something. xD

I recently started to have to listen to music whenever I'm online. Otherwise the silence just drives my crazy!

When I just get home from somewhere, though, it doesn't matter if there's any sound or not. Unlike my grandma who has to turn on the TV.

All in all, I usually listen to music. Sometimes I'll turn on the TV for the heck of it too and just read.
