Anyone seen this classic piece of animation from the early to mid-80's? If so what do you like or dislike about it?

Yup Love the movies.. I also subscribe to the magazine :).. I have to say I'm a fan of the original than the second..

Loved it. I loved the style of animation. I also love the pornesque element to it. I especially love that it's one of the only things my parents wouldn't let me watch as a little kid. Wow. I just like the weirdness, and the feeling that you can just look at it and not have to think about the plot, just the cool looking scenery and characters.

both movies where really good. but i can say i havent read the comic...im sorry

I don't know if its brought upon by the fact that little to none of the material within was considered shocking or edgy to me, or that its aged badly, but when I watched Heavy Metal, I was... well, I wasn't unimpressed, but it really was a mixed bag for me. I really enjoyed some of the skits, while others had me distractedly picking up the DS and playing Pokemon while I waited for the segment to end. So overall it was... oaky. Not great. Not bad. Okay.
